The Cherry Blossom Bombshells (in pink) and the Rogue Rollergirls battle it out at the D.C. Armory on 10 April 2010.
This photo was conceived while rollerblading past a ceremonial fire truck on
exhibit at the September 11th rally at the Tempe Town Lake beach. I did not
intend to do this, but it somewhat resembles the light blur of some desktop
backgrounds, and is rather colorful.
McDonald roller SC 82V in a Park in Burnside. This roller was made in 1918 and is probably the oldest surviving McDonald roller.

And one last look at the rollers, sadly none of my pictures of the final style came out good this time. Still was a wonderful time!

fan appreciation at the Border City Brawlers "Barn Burner" women's roller derby matchup, in the Windsor Arena (the "Barn)
One of the parks along the Wildwood, NJ boardwalk. This a six-image panorama-- one of the widest I've ever attempted. It's also one of my favorites. Commenters have indicated that this is the Great White coaster.

Today I attended a "send off" for one of the Advent Riders who is moving out of town. His wife is a player on a roller derby team, and we went to see the games in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
I dug way back in my pictures to when I just started out with a very nice Sony Cybershot for this and one other photo that I like.
