……A great place to watch the sun go down at Constantine bay North Cornwall, spent many an evening walking along here from Treyarnon to Booby’s bay. An old shot this but worth a re-edit in B&W I thought..…..

In Exeter I found these cyclamen in the wonderful Northernhay Gardens. I thought that they contrasted beautifully with the rocks on which they were growing. It always amazes me how plants can find a way to survive!

Smattering of rust on a boulder at the Remarkable Rocks attraction at the Flinders Chase National Park in Kangaroo Island.
Remarkable Rocks is of the top tourist attractions on Kangaroo Island. These rock formations are indeed 'remarkable" and sit precariously on a cliff edge in Flinders Chase National Park on the island. 500 million years weathering and pounding seas have shaped these huge granite boulders.
Keeping it simple, just loess among the rocks at my favorite place on the California coast, Pescadero State Beach.
It was hot, I was tired of walking and desperatly wanted to cool myself, but couldnt make myself to go swim down there :-D

We are caught in a 'cold snap' (-40C) that isn't conducive to making new photos so I am perusing my archives seeing if any are worth further development.

Heavy rain and wind cut short our hike, but back near the trailhead, the rain lessened. So we stopped to photograph this waterfall.
Happy Waterfall Wednesday!
Very very early in the morning at Ocean City, Maryland. This jetty is around 14th Street along the beach.
Hiking family climb over a rocky beach to visit St Govan’s chapel. Built into the side of a limestone cliff, the building measures 20 by 12 feet (6.1 m × 3.7 m) with walls constructed from limestone, and consists of two chambers, one in the front and one in the back.[1] The majority of the chapel was built in the thirteenth century, although parts of it may date back further to the sixth century when Saint Govan, a monk moved into a cave located on the site of the chapel. One legend suggests that Saint Govan is buried underneath the chapel's altar, located at the east end of the building.
