Every rock is to have its own plastic container. We can't just have them all over the place, with no order whatsoever?
This one looks a little like a character out of Star Wars, but just like with clouds, you're free to see your own images! This one looks so much like it's sliding off, it is amazing just to stand there and hope you can get the picture before it comes down. But somehow it stays up there!
Rock face below Cenobio de Valerón ("Valerón Monastery") , municipality Santa María de Guía, Gran Canaria, Spain.
Cenobio de Valerón is an ancient communal grain-store situated on a rock face of the mountain Gallego in the Barranco de Calabozo (Calabozo valley). It was built and used by the ancient canarians, the Guanches.
When it was discovered, people thought the little caves were a kind of convent where young women lived until they got married, so the place was called "cenobio" = "monastery".

Cathedral Rock on a cold and windy day during Golden High Country workshop with Mark Gray April 2014.
It is amazing how these channels form, and the light that lights them - I enjoyed my trip to the seaside after 4 weeks of snow. Mind you - it was slippy for some reason, and I saw someone fall over - looked a bit sore afterwards.
Just a small part of the impressive rock city nearby the village Adršpach, on the border to Poland. Large unusual sandstone formations form a labyrinth of high towers, which is a very popular tourist target. Now in Summer it´s full with people, it´s better to visit it out of vacation season. The nature around is simply beautiful and well suited for on-the-foot tourism.
A pigeon hanging around a feeder at South Padre Island Birding Center. A species that is so common and sometimes a bit of pest. Its beauty is often overlooked.

Proof (for me as much as anyone) that I actually went rock climbing. Keep in mind that I'm more than a little afraid of heights.
Thanks, Jory!
joseph helped take care of my father during the worst time after his prostate surgery... the first 5 days after the surgery, dad was hallucinating... he only slept about 15 mins for those 5 days... he was constantly trying to jump out of bed or pull his tubes out... joseph was our rock... the man from lagos was calm... he took care of my dad, ann, and myself... he is a man of god... completed his seminary training... he has my respect.
Rock Club. I've seen many of these back in the day playing dive bars and rock clubs. Good times, but at the same time I don't think I miss it.
