Our rocket has gone to seed and is taking over the garden. The perfect subject for a sneaky speedy pesto...

In honor of Stress Free Awareness Month, Slippery Rock held a Stress Free event in the University Union. Sara Maier, Rick DeMartinis, Lucas Grande, and Brian Rice made stress balls out of balloons and rice at one of the many tables at the event on Thursday.

This has become the random showtune set, this one invoking "Cool" from "West Side Story" in honor of Justin Rocket Silverman and Lockhart Steele.

In my heart of hearts, I know that like three people get and love my showtune headlines. Hi, guys!

These pictures are for the parents and families of Tacoma cub scout pack 227. If you would like your child's picture removed please let me know.

Rockets!!!

The high school came out to help the kids launch some rockets off today, CHECK IT!

I'm such a geek. I ponied up the cash for a X-51 Nether-Rocket from the trading card game. Wrenzo is sitting pretty now!

Rocket-like emblems found their way onto countless GM designs of the 50s and early 60s.

Nate's theme for his first birthday was rocket ships. I knitted some mochi mochi rockets for decoration for the cake table.

This is a recreation of a very old rocket that I first saw in a 1971 Centuri Engineering catalog.

It flew on the then-enormous E and F Mini-Max and Enerjet motors. No way I could afford it when I was eight years old!

About six years back I built a "clone" of the Explorer and sent it to Lee Piester, the guy who founded Centuri. Then I built this version for myself.

The Explorer is now a commercial kit, produced by Semroc. I used their decals for this one.
