Here's wishing all of you a wonderful Friday and great weekend ahead. After we got back from our vacation, I have been very slow in visiting your stream and making comments that I even thought that I'd take a break from Flickr; however, I know I will miss all of you and those pictures on your stream so I've decided to just do as much as I can do in catching up on your stream. Went out to San Antonio's Riverwalk tonight to shoot the Christmas lights. It's that time of year again.

I woke up this morning around 4am and couldn't get back to sleep, so i took a walk down the riverwalk area.
it's purty down there ;-)

People gather along the riverwalk, while others use small watercraft to navigate the Chicago River, near the Clark Street bridge during the end of natural daylight.
A few extra shots from from a previous summer jaunt on a weekend afternoon through the neighborhood. Odd now that it's September we are getting the warmest week of the year. In a few short months, it might not be so enjoyable!
Construction continues on the riverside - eastward of this point the riverwalk, after a couple of years, has been completed and it looks fantastic!
