A ring modulator I built for my friend Scott around 1994. It still survives to this day. He sent me these photos a while back so I could have them for my collection of creations and abominations.
I've started taking photo's of different bands effects setups. I think it's my new favorite type of photo. In addition to these, Rob had his vocals going through a roland tape echo, and they have synth loop backing tracks going the whole time. The razor you see lying there is what they soon used to have their heads shaved.

The front panel uses elements from www.modular.fonik.de designs.
I went nasty and changed the Q116 RingModulator panel :) Now there are 4 modules behind the panel - Q116 RingModulator, Q118 InstrumentInterface, Q110 Noise and Q105 SlewLimiter. (Most of the dotcom PCBs are the same size and can be stacked using spacers.)
Pots, switches, and connectors mounted onto the panel.
