Look at this buildling in the 80s. There is probably not one building left that has this class. Why? Oh, the Taliban, the Soviets, the insurgents, the USA, just whoever passes through and wants to crap on the country. Let the Afghans have their country back, let what will be happen. They are capable of ruling their own country better than a bunch of foreigners.
One of the great freedoms we enjoy in America is the right to move to another nation where we might feel more comfortable. Freedom in America speaks for itself, but unless we preserve that right to speak, we must forget about everything. Our Bill of Rights is our cornerstone in whatever we build in this nation.

I recall many bands of Japanese musicians who were playing the club circuit who changed from tux to country and western threads. They received standing ovations for their rendition of "Fujiyama Mama" and usually followed it with a repeat, an encore.
Many of those who sit on city hall meeting and are city council members are either cartoon characters or robots and have no reasoning abilities.

Keep in mind there are parts of the world where mentioning the name of Jesus might just get your head sliced off.
But here in the land of liberty, you have the right to say Jesus, Allah, Joseph Smith, Madeline ________, or any number of founders of the world's great religions or great anti-religions.
Whether those promoting PC Political Correctness like it or not, the facts are clear that this nation was founded by those who were, for the most part, Christians, or professed to be Christians. Nevertheless, this nation did not, I repeat, DID NOT, adopt a national religion or nation church as part of its affiliation like England has--to this day. There are other nations where Christians cannot enter. Yes, the good old USA is okay. You can even build a mosque right next door to a site that was destroyed in the name of a religion, yet the good old USA says, "Go right ahead, build your prayer center, show movies, eat and fast in your mosque, swim and have fun. And on the official 911 monument, there can be no reference to what happened to the WTC. Were they, like Sodom and Gomoraha, struck down? Who knows what is being taught in this nation's schools?
It should have been plain and simple to all who were around when this nation was founded, that religion was an individual choice. There was freedom of religion and freedom from religion.
America is a very liberal and kind country when it comes to religion and the rights that are protected by the Constitution and Bill of Rights when it comes to religion.
To those who want to sue Rick Perry or whomever they plan to sue for sponsoring a Prayer Breakfast, I will give them this advice as will millions of other Americans: "Get over it. Read that single statement in the bill of rights:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

One thing every american man and woman who believes in a free society must remember is this simple statement:
We the american citizens make the rules--the politicians are hired to enforce them. When this changes, it is time to impeach the politicians who will not follow our orders............
This is great...But it came a bit late. Had it been included in the original Constitution, thousand of lives would have been saved and the hate that was borne by its omission might have been less intense. That is to say, it is almost unreal when one considers the founding fathers establishing a nation called a Democracy and permitting slavery to exist. If one wonders why some people do not celebrate the 4th of July, think about this subject for awhile. This is one of the subjects that was not, unfortunately, taught in any detail in the United States Education system until after the Civil Rights bill had been passed. Of course, there are regional areas where it is still omitted; on the other hand, the pendelum has swung in a completely radical direction in other areas. What America really needs is a factual history of events without editorial comments from biased authors who are left or right wing oriented. I am capable of writing a factual text book that could be used in all fifty states and territories. I would appreciate and need help in this project. Why do I believe I could do it? It is called empathy. Becaue of my imagination, I am able to look at both sides of the issue without bias.

Let there be no mistaking, I have seen and heard JFK alive and in person in the autumn of 1960 in San Diego, California and it was JFK who said, "Ask what you can do for your country, not what can your country can do for you." JFK was a Democrat; he had served as a Naval Officer during World War Two. JFK was the hope for the 60s generation. His belief in personal freedoms, freedom of speech and equal rights for all people of all colors and creeds made him the long-remembered hero of my generation. I was proud to serve under JFK as my Commander in Chief as I had under Dwight D. Isenhower, and eventually, under President Lyndon B. Johnson. Having seen each of these Presidents, plus President Harry S. Truman, also a military veteran, I was one proud American.
Today, America seems to be going down a road that leads far from the Democracy of my generation. As a conservative individual when it involves our Constitution, I am concerned about exactly where all of these entitlement programs are leading; I am concerned about the myriad of ultra-left liberals being appointed as advisors, but not only as advisors, individuals who are writing policy.
This next election in November gives me the hope I believe we will need to make these United States of America a proud and first-class nation once again, a nation that knows our enemy, a nation where political agendas and idealogies do not nudge common sense into a closet where it will scream for attention.
I respect the office of the President of the United States and it is my hope that President Obama will understand that he represents all of the people. Recent communications from his directors have revealed the President has an inordinately unusual interest in the media who lauds his every policy and no room for those who take exception to his policies and appointments. That a major cable news network has been singled out for isolation and has been the subject of what could have been an in-house plan to exclude them from press conferences is a matter that creates more than a little anxiety within the mainstream population of all parties.
DEDICATED TO THE COAL INDUSTRY OF AMERICA. We must support the coal industry and free enterprise. Without getting into all of the foolish details surrounding EPA issues, rest assured that unless the EPA is dismantled, perhaps outlawed forever, this great nation will crash like the two locomotives above. What caused the collision above? It was stubborness. Each engineer knew he was on the right track and had the right-of-way. Are you getting the picture?

Now, changing the subject just for the sake of variety in this nation of energy theorists, take the windmill farms. They cause cancer, kill birds and create an ugly landscape where the plains were once landscapes of beauty. In my opinion, if God had wanted us to get energy from such gadgets en masse, He would have put propellers on the giant Redwoods. Opps, I hope the eggheads in Washington don't try this.
There was a time and place for windmills: Kansas and Van Gogh paintings. Seriously, there is still a use for a windmill on a Great Plains farm, but to see hundreds of them humming night and day?
That's right, folks, only minutes after the announcement, actually a news leak, the names of the new leaders of the new DEPARTMENT OF JOBS has been made official. They are, from left to right: Bobby Lee, Davey Duggins and brother Timmy Duggins. They are posing here, to serve as an example of being ready to begin their "SHOVEL-READY JOBS."
"My God, we did our best to give you a Constitution that would last forever, and look what you have done to it, you people have lost all of your common sense. You aren't responsible enough to govern yourselves. You have permitted greed and corruption to enter into your sacred halls of Congress and breed a group of politicians who care only for their purses and their power.

Don't you know that men are mere mortals and there is no well-spring that will keep you alive longer than your due date. "What's up with Frank--he's pretty freaked out?" There was a silence in the bar like no silence since the last miner disaster. Finally, Bill answered the question: "He's worked at the coal mines for nearly 40 years and the EPA is closing them down."
This is only one of the hundreds of similar scenarios that will take place because Congress has no concern for the industry of the United States. While they snoozed, a group performed some subterreanean moves and cranked up the Environmental Protection Agency into a bureaucratic monster with more power than they should ever have been permitted to have.
That a non-constitutional branch of the government has been covertly created and enhanced with power unauthorized by national concensus is yet another example of how socialism can creep into a democracy where representatives are sleeping and like a mold, contaminate an entire form of government. Oh, it is not too late to dismantle a bureau that was assembled through lobbying and political coalitions. If Congress, even with a majority of those who support an ugly bureau such as EPA, had the desire, EPA could be deactivated and put in its proper perspective, that of an advisory information bureau, not a force that has power to destroy American industry and create financial disaster throughout all of America's power industries.
The NYC economy will improve when the TERROR TRIALS begin. Everyone from the Middle-East will be renting suites and making reservations for special dinners. Taxi business will improve and people will be everywhere, everywhere. Aren't you anxious for this surprise bonus to the Manhattan Economy?

Remember the time when going to the airport was a thrill? Remember when the thought of flying to your destination was a thrill? What has happened? Who has taken that joy from our lives? It sure as hell wasn't the airline employees. It wasn't the pilots or the onboard employees. It wasn't the mechanics who worked around the clock to make sure the engines were perfect. It wasn't the faa. It wasn't the department of transportation safety. So, just who in the hell is it that has taken the thrill out of flying?
Another product of busy times and busy minds. The government did not interfere with the assembly of convertibles until they were more or less outlawed. Guess what? New officials were elected and the convertibles returned. That is the way it goes in the usa in your chevrolet.
Yes, that's just the way life is sometimes. Rarely is a choice 100% right or 100% wrong. Sometimes you choose the lesser of two evils and sometimes you just guess and hope for the best.
THAT'S THE WAY THE COOKIE CRUMBLES IN A DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY CONGRESS...majority party can simply stick this in air anytime opposition to any bills are raised.
The Choice is ours…
Sometimes it is good to cross over and other times a steady path in the right direction in the way we should be guided,
But like I said it is up to us.
I hope in the world we live in people can grow and move in the right direction that will lead to a better place for all of mankind!
