Riddle Brothers Ranch National Historic District is part of the historic context of pioneer settlement and the development of the livestock industry in the American West. Walter, Frederick, and Benjamin Riddle were three bachelor brothers who secured home sites and raised livestock in and around the ranch. Migrating from western Oregon, they settled in the early 1900s and built their ranch by gaining control of water in the area.

My fourth is in Common but never in Heath
My fifth is in Hornet but never in Bee

Riddle’s Court is a unique survival: an A-listed 16th Century courtyard house set behind the Royal Mile close to Edinburgh Castle. The property contains significant architectural features documenting its 400 year history including a rare late 16th Century painted beam ceiling, an early 17th Century plaster ceiling and a late 19th Century ceiling by TK Bonnar.
