Pictures are worth thousands of words, yet mine remain uninspired. Riddles about coffins seem a bad start to the day, but then I spoke to Patrick on the phone. When I said, I'll see you a little later, he said, yeah-maybe, and I didn't. Not at all. Questions for Mark turned into ridiculous storytelling - why do I open my mouth at all? In the afternoon I drank a milkshake. Communication with Zachary, who seems nice, and appears to be a potter. Wrote small notes to Alex and Mike. More of nothing from Kennon Warner. Strange to find that Pyrex can cook in the oven for hours but a moment on direct flame can crack it right in half. A broken flower, I have taken that journey. And Titian Sleuth once again outdoes herself. If I were lightning, where would I strike?
I shot this photo in the close-up mode on my Canon Rebel. I chose this as my close-up shot this week because of the character in the focused flower and the leaf next to it. I also love the blurred flowers in the background of the picture - giving the picture some more depth.
I experimented a bit with silhouettes because it is a great simple way to show body shape. Here I'm looking at shadows of my own body and just experimenting with shapes.
