Part of my Wall of Villains project, for which I'm painting a series of nine different Batman villains in black and white, based on their appearance in Batman: The Animated Series. Each painting measures 10"x10".
Actually, I thought that I already have a good eye for details. But here I passed a couple of times, without seeing what it represents. Of course, you can discern that immediately. It's not just any pattern. There are the butt of cows. Lutzenberg, Switzerland, Dec 22, 2012.

Preserved British Railways Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 steam locomotive 92214 comes into view at Arley Station on the heritage Severn Valley Railway in Worcestershire (UK).
92214 was designed by Robert Riddles, built at Swindon Works in October 1959 and withdrawn from traffic a ludicrous 6 years later in August 1965.
92214 was a special guest locomotive at the Severn Valley Railway courtesy of the Great Central Railway (GCR).
