3D Laser scanning of 80m dredger hull and superstructure for stability and refurbishment planning by our colleagues at Marine Design International Ltd in Glasgow. A single day scanning allowed us to reverse engineer the hull to a 3D CAD model suitable for use in specialist Naval Architecture software for stability calculations.

Speaking the language of the developers, Wibu-Systems security professionals discussed the ever-evolving scenarios triggered by the increasing number of cyber-attacks. Thinking like a hacker is the new black.
Guenther Fischer, Senior Consultant Licensing and Protection at Wibu-Systems, gave a presentation on “Protect your Code against Reverse Engineering”, in which he broke down the best software protection techniques in simple language. All developers, regardless of their current skillsets, walked away from this session with a clearer understanding of why protecting intellectual property against piracy is essential.
3D Laser scanning of 10m composite catamaran for Stormcats and our colleagues at Marine Design International. During the space of the day,we scanned 4 of the companies existing hulls, allowing MDI to reverse engineer new superstructure and hull fittings to the as built CAD models we supplied.
www.optimumarc.com - Based on the same breakthrough technology that has made the Handyscan 3D brand so successful, the EXAscan self-positioning handheld scanner offers increased resolution and accuracy. The EXAscan makes it possible to carry out EXActing 3D scanning projects with a level of detail and accuracy that no other handheld scanning system can achieve. The EXAscan is definitely the most flexible, freeform inspection device on the market.
3D Laser scanning survey of 36m explorer yacht in Malta. Reverse engineered to a 3D CAD model for stability and other Naval Architecture work, the survey was carried out over 2 days, scanning the hull, superstructure and various internal compartments.

Designed for beginners and intermediate developers, this book teaches Hibernate 3 from the ground up with an aim to get the reader up to speed with Hibernate as quickly as possible. It delves deeply into the core of the Hibernate 3 framework, providing a sound understanding of the components that make up the framework and the way they interact with each other.
This book uses the learning by doing pattern with a lot of ready-to-use examples. This pattern has proven to be best approach for beginners. Most [if not all] of the concepts that you will find in this book are demonstrated using well described and easy to understand examples, yet sophisticated enough to demonstrate Hibernate in a real-world context.
Finally, a web based application is developed to re-enforce all the learning that took place throughout the book. Not only this, the book also teaches porting the same application to another database, switching from Hibernate's native API to Java Persistence API and integrating with Struts2. This will definitely help developers to quickly get started with building real-world Web applications using the Hibernate 3 framework.
those gold bond wires! I'm surprised this $1.99 deal actually uses ceramic package SMDs. The disc is about the size of a Canadian toonie.
