These cable cars are old... they only go forward... the only way to turn them around so they can go back up the hills is to manually turn them. Kinda fun to watch the process which is surprisingly fast.

Taken in my parents yard. 24mm prime reversed on extension tubes. Hinged hot shoe allows the flash to lean out over the lens stack and a DIY snoot with diffusion.
was walking in my parent's backyard and came across a garden ornament ( a big shiny sphere). I took the picture and in the height of pollen season. So there are a few smudges in the reflection.
My 2nd pinafore, I revamped the pattern.The great Owl fabric is Japanese. The reverse side is from a vintage sheet that I love and I think it works pretty well with the owls. It looks so cute on my daughter Lily! Oh and the buttons are vintage as well.

This evening we got one of those strange reverse sunsets in the east that seem to happen when the setting sun peeks under a cloud layer to shine on the underside of clouds to the east of us. This one had a sort of aurora borealis feel to it, presumably the result of virga (rain falling but evaporating before reaching the ground).
This photo is just as it came from the camera, with no post-processing.
