Nice Laura came by this afternoon to print these out. Paper is 100% recycled--pulled from the loading dock at the shop--and printed on a Gocco.

Street art exhibition with works by both local and international artists

Hi everyone,

These are reusable fanny wipes. I see these all the time on here but I thought I'd try my hand at some different fabric options rather than just flannel. These are flannel on one side and jersey knit on the other. I have some of these that I use myself that are wash cloth sized. I have to say, they feel alot better than terry cloth and they hold up for a REALLY long time....I can't tell you exactly how long as mine are still holding up.

.They measure 7 square. They are rolled hem stitched for a little extra umph.

Thanks for looking

Liz got it for me for our anniversary. The best part? The original

design on the mug says "God Bless Mom"... :)

Going to a dinner party bringing along a bottle of wine? Dress it up with a reusable wine bottle bag.

This was a top that was not finished, she was so shy to share all of these with me, she thought people would make fun of her for reusing fabric harvested from clothing.

From the museum label:

Niccolò, the son and pupil of Segna di Bonaventura, reused and perpetuated his father's stylistic elements (or, more directly, those of Duccio) while at the same time developing a more up-to-da personal manner open to the influence of Simon Martini and Pietro Lorenzetti.

Apart from the elaborate decoration of the Virgin's halo which bears the inscription: "Ave Gratia Plena D[omi]n[us Tecum]", the design, composition and iconographical formula are still those hallowed by tradition and reused by the painter on more than one occasion.

Jesus's symbolic gesture involving raising and showing the Virgin's veil, another recurrent feature with Duccio's followers, takes on a more ostensibly ritual significance in this picture.

In the picture we are refilling our water bottles. We wanted to focus more on refilling them to show how we are going to do our project. Our project is Reusing Water Bottles so we decided to start our project by refilling water bottles.

Did you know that 1.5 million barrels of oil are used to make plastic water bottles every year? By switching to refillable bottles you can help reduce the unnecessary CO2 created by producing them.

Reuse: Andy Baio, March 2013

The global theme for January 2013 was "Reuse." Our speaker at Portland/CreativeMornings was Andy Baio , who spoke about remix culture and the new Prohibition. We were hosted by the hollywoodtheatre.org and sponsored by Citizen and 52 Limited. With thanks to Pro Photo Supply for the photo & video gear.

So... new year, new line. Welcome to Transfomers Legacy... EVOLUTION. Because it's now cool to make old things evolved.

I dunno.

There's actually not a whole lot I've seen from this line up that particularly thrills me, but hey only time will tell. I do know I want that Commander Armada Prime, and I'm waiting for all the Dinobots to be gathered before I photograph them.

Officially, first up for me would be Metalhawk, the pretty much unknown leader of the Pretenders (unknown out in Hasbro land)until he was reintroduced in the Titans Return lineup. I believe there was a little Titan Master figure, as well as a repainted/repurposed figure in one of the gift sets at the time.

This time around, Metalhawk (no Pretender is a repurposed Voyager Cyclonus figure, which from my understanding was a pretty solid toy.

Metalhawk doesn't "Wow" me, but at the same time it doesn't disappoint, except for the lack of paint which given that they all suffer from this, isn't even a thing anymore. There's some silver and red on the knees, splash of red on the chest as well as the tailfins of the jet mode and jet canopy, and of course the silver and blue on the face. Other than that it's pretty much base plastic colours, which is unfortunate as the gold plastic really doesn't look all that great.

The overall look seems to be a good interpretation of the G1 cartoon look, with the major deviation being the arms and attached wings. Accessories are his sword and a pair of guns that can be merged into one gun, as well as his trademark sword. No idea what this "Evo-Fusion" thing is, though.

Articulation is decent, again with the major points of articulation, including a waist. Shoulders are lacking that butterfly joint, which I typically wouldn't expect in a mainline figure anyway.

Build quality is, pleasantly, pretty much flawless. No loose joints, poorly fitting parts, bad finishes. Everything functions and holds as it should, as well as tabs together and slots up properly.

Transformation into jet mode is straight forward, the resulting form isn't bad. This is perhaps the only other real beef I have with this figure. Due to the reuse of Cyclonus, the vehicle mode has the same proportions of said character, which isn'ta problem when the front end of your jet mode is all nosecone. Here, they had to squeeze the entire cockpit area of the jet mode into what was just the tip of Cyclonus, and it just looks so squished. Weapons can attach to the vehicle mode as show, and as one would think, yes, the sword looks ridiculous.

An adaptively reused set of structures that once served as the various mills and warehouses of the American Tobacco Company, the American Tobacco Campus, or American Tobacco Historic District, sits on the south side of Downtown Durham. With the oldest structure dating to 1874 and the most recent construction dating to the 1950s, the district is one of the most intact examples of architecture built for the tobacco industry, and today are home to a variety of offices, shops, and restaurants.
