"were [sic] you will have access to an abundance of information to help you create a beautiful outdoor living area for your home. Landscaping is the practice of arranging flowers, plants, trees and garden accessories in an ornamental landscape for your outdoor living area."

Here at London Permaculture we prefer edible/productive landscaping and the use of design methods and tools.

With direction from arts and events coordinator, Jessica Corlett, participants learnt the surprisingly simple art of Amish toothbrush rug-making by reusing a retired toothbrush and waste textiles. We made our own rug making tool and mini rug, with no sewing required. Participants found out that rag rugs are a great way to reuse scrap fabric and are machine washable.

Not the bus though First Southern National 7905 N905HWS at Yeovil which was a cascade from Bristol's Winterstoke Road depot. However, it seemed to have gained a blind from a Ford Transit.

Molarchae's BOOK collection melds together our love of science, creativity, and reuse. Science is an ever-evolving body of knowledge, and as a result, many older books are almost laughably outdated. We rescue books that are past their informative and/or physical prime and give them a new life with the help of a laser cutter and a lot of love.

Ya gotta love young artists!

It’s estimated that we use 100 billion plastic bags each year in the United States, and these bags sit in landfills or litter our streets. Consider a reusable alternative in this no-sew workshop for recyclers of all ages.

Very nice and design creations from recycled objects by UseDesign !

The Philosophy of UseDesign : "With stuccos, waxes and paints I try to cover, as long as possible, the past of the objects, burying them under a layer of glamour and kitsch. My act, though, brings inevitably a new different life to the thing, and only its external shape recalls its previous ended life."

nice done !

I have an old pair of stockings that I'm not sure I ever really wore. I bought them loving the texture and design, but I don't know that I ever really wore them.

I cut a section of the leg off to wear around my dreads. It's a little too tight (I'm hoping it'll stretch) for wearing as a headband, but has turned out to be perfect for use as a ponytail or bun holder!

Repurposing Rocks!

After makeing some for my wife and daughter she wanted more so here they are, More crafted note books this time is used welding wire for the binder with recycled computer paper and cardboard.

The reduced title glued onto the book cloth. The edges might be a little rough, but the important thing is to not cut too much in an attempt to perfect your cuts.

"Evergreen Brick Works is a community environmental centre that inspires and equips visitors to live, work and play more sustainably. Evergreen, a national charity, has transformed the former Don Valley Brick Works from a collection of deteriorating heritage buildings into an international showcase for urban sustainability and green design that is open year-round." (Evergreen Brickworks Site)

To me this site symbolized the transformation of something that was decrepit, dark, forgotten and forlorn into a space where the community can interact with thier natural surroundings. Children are encouraged to play outside with natural materials (sticks, branches and leaves) and parents only smile when they see their child covered in mud from jumping into a mud puddle as opposed to being concerned by germs and bacteria (like many ecophobic parents are today). The brickworks also acts as a place of renewal, as the polluted waters of the Don River travel through restored wetlands on the site, the water is filtered from toxins, salt and contaminated runoff.

I just cant get enough of this place and will definitely make return visits in the future.

Quite a good idea. Pay 99 cents per bag and you can reuse and replace it forever. But what am I going to line my dustbins with?
