UPHOLD JNU'S DEMOCRATIC TRADITIONS!.
RALLy BEHIND THE JNUSU TO STRENGTH::N THE JNU STUDENT MOVEMENTII .
.
21 November 2005.
s, The SFI-AISF welcomes the resolutions passed in the JNUSU .Council Meeting held on 19th November 2005. The Resolutions.
reflect the opinion of the overwhelming majority of the students of this campus regarding the incidents involving the Prime Minister's visit to.JNU.. The AISA should dee pi_Y introspect.into ~ts irr~s~onsible role during the. entir~ epiSOde and deSiSt from displaying arrogance and StOpblam1ng the SFI-AISF for their thorough ISolation w1thrn the student commun1ty. It 1s a matter of serious concern that the JNUSU PresidentiS yet to inform the stu~~~t community re~arding ~er whereabouts. S~I-AISF demands that she comes bacl< tO the CampUS at the earliest.
and.resp~nd .to ~he cnt1C1sm~ mad~ ag~1nst her rn the censure motion passed by the JNUSU Council. No amount of pamphleteering.

would absolve AISA from the responsibility of responding to the questions related to the JNUSU President..
A requisition for a UGBM to impeach the JNUSU President was submitted to the JNUSU, on the basis of which an Extraordinary.
~GBM has be.en notified for 26th N~vember 2005. T~e signature .c~mpaign on this issue was initiated by the NSUI. The large number ofSignatures wh1ch have been submitted reflect genu1ne anger w1thrn the student community against the role of the JNUSU President..
However, the JNUSU Council, while Censuring the JNUSU President in the Council meeting, did not decide to move an impeachment.
motion against her. The SFI-AISF feels that an impeachment motion against the JNUSU President on this issue is an exaggerated.
response to the incidents that have occurred in the campus over the past few days. The JNUSU President should be given an opportunityto explain her absence in the E-UGBM and respond to the Censure motion passed against her. If she fails to apologise and instead.
justifiesihe unacceptable position taken by the AISA, then the SFI-AISF would vote for the Censure motion against the JNUSU President.
in the E-UGBM. The SFI-AISF, however, does not support the impeachment motion against the JNUSU President..
Impeachment of a JNUSU President has never occurred in the history of the JNUSU. Although we consider the role of the JNUSU.
President in the present case to be utterly irresponsible and stand compl~tely opposed to the adventurist and anarchist positions taken by.
the AISA. we do not think that it justifies impeachment of a democratically elected representative, just amonth after the JNUSU elections..
That would weaken the JNUSU, create deep divisions within the student community and strengthen the hands of the JNU Administration in.
clamping down upon students' rights. We appeal to the student community to rise above partisan concerns and recognize the damagewhich would be done to the JNUSU as awhole, if its President gets impeached within a month of getting elected. We also appeal to the student community to see through the devious political games that are being played by the NSUI, takingadvantage of the situation that has been created by the infantile activities of the ultra-Left. Only a month ago the NSUI polled 221 votes in.
the post of President in the JNUSU elections and finished fourth. A section of the NSUI along with the JPF voted for the AISA in the.
President'.
s post in order to defeat the SFI-AI SF candidate. The NSUI resorted to such opportunistic tactics because their politics, which.
.
celebrates the pro-imperialist and neoliberal policies of the Manmohan Singh government, was decisively rejected by an overwhelming.
.
irresponsible disruption of the PM'.
s speech by the ultra-Left, into support for the policies of the PM and the Congress led government. The .
.
majority of JNU students. Today, in an attempt to fish in troubled waters, they are trying to channelize the discontent arising out of theprogressive and politically conscious student community of JNU can never be fooled by such cynical manoeuvres. The SFI-AISF reassertsits uncompromising opposition to the pro-US foreign policy as well as the neoliberal economic policies of the Manmohan Singhgovernment, which was articulated in the memorandum submitted to the PM by the JNUSU. The SFI-AISF supports the efforts by the Left.

EURJPY continues trading in range. Price is retesting support at the 133.89-98 area. In the event that values of support hold, it raises the possibility of prices returning to values of resistance. Alternatively a breakdown below 133.90 would signal an end to current range market.

UNITED DALIT STUDENTS FORUM.
JNU, NEW DELHI-110067.
Friends, 6.08.2000UOSF welcomes the freshers and continuing students and wishes a bright and fruitful career. .
Being the family members of JNU, now it is our duty and responsibility both to make the functioning of.
strongly objects the "code of conduct" issued by the JNU-Administration on the ground that it leaves our home and family in very smooth way in a friendly and cooperative manner. At the outset UOSF.
objections against the Administration. In a clandestine manner they bring out the "code of conduct" no scope for the students either individually or collectively for protest or demonstrations or any.
without mentioning the parameters of protests and objections which are legitimised by them, they .
escaped by bringing the same, so that they could be able at any time to charge us that our protest is .
illegal, coercive or undemocratic. Thus, we demand the withdrawal of the "code of conduct"..

Secondly, we would like to focus the injustice imposed upon us by the administration in theyear reports in the print media, stated that this JNU-Administration was claiming to be the pioneer in fulfilling the 22.5% of quotas, but we would like to ask the JNU-Administration, where is "your" claim of being pioneer this time? Have you changed mind? On the continuous efforts of ours about the break .
up of datas and other statistics, co-ordinator in the name of "University Secret" is escaping from his.
responsibility. We would like to wam the JNU-Administration that their double talk to justify the.
secular organisations and individuals to remain a part of the united struggle against the oppressive injustice on us will be fought tooth and nail, at the same time we appeal to all the democratic and.
tactics of the Administration. .
It is to be brought out that the standing committee which plays a vital role in decision-.

long demand of transparency in admission policy may be seen in a fruitful and faithful sense. You wit .
be surprised to know that few centres does not follow the reservation policy on the ground that "22.5% .
of the total seats in particular school or centre will come in fraction thus impossible to follow the implementation of 22.5%" (as stated by the coordinator). Here we would like to ask till what time your "so of so" policy will go on. If this "so of so" policy is allowed to continue then for a period there will no representation of Dalit students in those particular centres or schools, thus we demand at least the .
minimum representation to be implemented in those schools and centres..
Friends, particularly in this current semester SLL & CS is facing the most serious problem in .

So far 64 cases have been reported out of which 29 cases are of Dalits. .

demand that if he/she fails to clear the papers then at least one chance either in the form of retest orcase, because this unfortunate circumstance may come at any time like the time and tide waits for .

Finally we appeal to all the democratic minded students to join us in tomorrow's protesttransparency in Admission Policy. .
