Last week we went to a railway museum in the open air on my husband's birthday.
We had a great day and I made a lot of pictures!
This man was an employee at the railway-station.
I saw him resting in the door opening of a train.
Yip Sang (1845-1927) was a prominent Chinese-Canadian businessman. He was a leader within the local Chinese community who was involved with social causes and political reform.
He is buried at the Chinese portion of the "Old Cemetery" at Mountain View Cemetery.

Che ci fanno le maioliche di casa di nonna tra le vestigia del foro di Traiano? Nella complessa stratigrafia dei Fori Imperiali, l'ultimo livello mostra ciò che rimane delle abitazioni che facevano parte del quartiere Alessandrino, demolito negli anni Trenta del Novecento per fare spazio al grande progetto urbanistico Mussoliniano di via dell'impero.

Piastrelle, maioliche e resti di pavimentazioni fanno quindi riferimento ai primi anni del secolo scorso: una storia molto più vicina di quanto si possa immaginare, e soprattutto di quanto possano immaginano quei simpatici "turisti" che negli anni si sono dedicati ad asportarle, forse con l'idea poter sfoggiare a casa un autentico souvenir di epoca romana o almeno rinascimentale.

Schellbourne Rest Area is located along US 93 in Northeast Nevada. It has information about the history of the area, especially Schell Creek Pony Express Station, which was about located about four miles east of the Rest Area.

The couple sitting on the beach caught my eye .. reading in the sunshine although the dog, on a leash, to the right was barking!!

This sofa was out in the middle of nowhere and Mike decided to try it out...brave man!
While I was taking the pic, he kept saying "HURRY UP, this thing stinks!!!"
after exploring the rock pools and looking for dead crabs, it's nice to just chill and admire the scenery
