Amei esse esmalte facil de passar e td mais, só que dura pouco passei sexta e sabado anoite ja estava saindo!!

My New Year's resolution each year is to read more books than I did the year before. In 2011 I read 42 (yes, I kept track). My hope this year is to read 50. Of course, I am behind on this goal already, since I am starting the year out with a book that is over 1000 pages long. Maybe the next one will be shorter :)
Other goals: Keep a gratitude journal, learn how to use my external flash (why does it intimidate me so much??) and do lots of arts and crafts with my daughter.
While enjoying NYE with some friends last night, I revealed my resolutions for 2012. As always, as soon as I think of one, I think of a million. So here they are written down and before I have time to think to ten more.
1 - Eat more healthily (I may have broken this one already with today's lunch above)
2 - Cook more fresh and tasty meals
3 - Make a bit of an effort on my appearance before leaving the house every day (terribly vain I know, but I genuinely feel better when I've got a bit of slap on, and I need that small pick me up at the moment)
4 - Take more photos. I'm starting Project 365 again. Will it be third time lucky and I'll actually do a whole year? Or will it only last two months? Who cares! The important thing is that when I'm doing this project, I take more photos generally and that can only be a good thing. I am so tired at the moment I need something to help me gee up my enthusiasm for photography. Also, this year promises to be super awesome and it will be good to have a record of it. Hopefully it won't be all baby and cat photos.

I have the same resolution this year as last year - to finish things. This is a cross-stitch I started over 15 years ago and never finished. I spent maybe 5 hours on this piece in 2011 and worked on the flowers in the bottom left of the piece. There were two things I did finish in 2011 that I had started.
For those that know how to make potholder in the loom, I finished one. It was started about 6 years ago and I could not finish it and get if off the loom. Well my Mom finally helped me.
I also passed a financial counselor certification early 2011.
I'll keep working on finished started projects in 2012.
