I met this man in a resale shop and we struck up a conversation about weather, sports, and the old days when school wasn't canceled because of cold weather. He was a big, powerful man for 77 years of age. His face showed his age a bit, but his eyes were full of life. My camera was hung from side and I asked if I could make his portrait. He confidently looked into the camera and I made one shot. Is there anything more interesting than the human face?
I made this image with my Pentax K3 and Pentax 18-135mm lens. Processing was done in Aperture 3 and OnOne Software's Perfect Black and White 8.

Bought this old dollhouse at a resale shop and plan to fix it up in the theme of Gone with the Wind houses.
I plan to totally redo the inside and outside of the dollhouse. There is a missing floor on the right side of the house. The house will need to be placed on a larger base for support and that will be come a yard etc. for the house. I will have it wired so we can have working lights in it. I have just about decided to use several rooms from different homes in the film in one house since we do not see much of Tara in a nice state in the movie. I have not decided for sure which rooms from which homes just yet. I know Scarlett's bedroom at Tara, and Bonnie's in Atlanta as well as the dinning room in the Atlanta mansion also maybe the library at 12 oaks is a possibility as for the others still clueless......

I went into the store dressed as a male, put my lingerie, stockings and heels on in the dressing room, and came out to model in the store and have my pictures taken.
I can't recommend Renee's enough to every other crossdresser out there, and to all of you genetic women too! The selection is great, even large and tall sizes to fit big gurls like me!

9 & 10 - Need ID on both the red panyhose or the black nylon slacks, both are sized for Barbie. Neither has any tags, but they "feel" official.
So, this was my $4 spend on 5-6-19, these dolls and garments all jumbled together in a small pink plastic tote basket along with about a dozen other random "bits" of larger doll clothing and a few pairs of child-sized tights.
(** it is hard to take a picture of an old photo in rather poor condition... so excuse the quality!)
Rumor has it that back in circa. 1952 a doll was found in a woodpile behind a deserted house in West Virginia. The doll was donated to a church thrift shop where the employees said they felt oddly "nervous" around this doll. One of the shop's cashiers' 7-year-old daughter picked up the doll one day and said she told her that her name was Rebecca. The Pastor was called in to examine the doll and he told the manager to throw the doll into the garbage can in the alley behind the shop. The manager did so and within three days suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed and unable to speak.
The following day, the Pastor was going to the hospital to pray with the ill employee when he was involved in a car accident and was killed. One of the resale shop employees dug Rebecca out of the trash and placed her in a box, then taped it shut. She reportedly mailed the box to a psychic who was interviewed in a newspaper and was well-known at the time to rid evil and demons from homes, people, and objects. Rebecca never made it to her destination; the post office claimed no such package had been mailed.
The rest of the history is peppered with myth and legend that may or may not be true. But Rebecca's exact whereabouts were unknown until this photograph surfaced at a flea market, stuffed into a well-worn Bible that was tied shut with a tattered red ribbon. On the back of the photo were the words "Rebecca demonis" scrawled in pencil. She is seen holding a more modern Barbie type of doll, minus a head. It is believed Rebecca is still out there somewhere, possibly at a flea market, yard sale, thrift shop.... you may want to watch out for her as she could be anywhere. And you are also advised to keep far, far away from her and whatever you do, do NOT toss her aside like an old trashed doll. Best to say hello, then move away quickly.
Here is the HMMTV command variant so far. The command variants will be able to control mobile artillery cannons, SAM, and MLRS type launchers remotely. It will also act as a battlefield command station. Considering the tiny amount of dark green I have I made the camo look pretty good.
Also in this photo is loot I picked up today from a local resale shop. They have cheese, headlight bricks, and other useful pieces in large numbers and sorted out of the big bins. It is where I get a lot of the parts used on my models as it is usually cheaper than BL for a few needed pieces.

Former London Central T916 (A916 SYE) converted to single door layout was awaiting a new owner at Wealden PSV the Five Oak Green, Kent based dealer on February 6th 1999.
This big guy was in the window of a local resale shop. He's a good six feet tall by seven feet deep by four feet wide. He'll cost you $1000, although I'm guessing the price is negotiable. (The shop was closed or I would have gone inside for a better photo.)
Near the foot of West Port, the premises were those of Arbroath Resales in June, 1985. They are now a Premier grocery. (Formerly an Arbroath Co-op?)

Tag Game: First Dolls of 2019. I'm qualifying it slightly--these are my first resale finds of 2019...
Pretty excited to see these AA dolls (usually they are scooped up and gone by the time I get there) Pretty sure I've got a Steven, a SIS and the ice cream shirt fashionista.
The Disney dolls are in great shape! Little girl got first crack at them (she got an Ariel and Cinderella), but I really wanted Anna. Belle & the Beast are in great shape and every one has their shoes!!!
When the house came up for resale in 1999, the local community, upon hearing that it was to be sold and moved out of the community of Bideford to Cavendish, reactivated the West Country Historical Society. The society became Incorporated and purchased the home, turning it into a museum with three distinct themes – that of the era of shipbuilding when the house was constructed; the contribution made to the community by the clergy and their families over the years; and thirdly, and perhaps what has created the most interest for the general public, is the fact that author Lucy Maud Montgomery boarded here from August 3, 1894 until May 11, 1895 while teaching in Bideford No. 6 School.

For many years, Sage Resale Shop was at this location next to the Car Wash. I purchased a Rolleicord I and a Rolleiflex New Standard there. Always liked to go check out if any camera junk was there. Eventually they moved to the other side of Summit near the Chatham border. Now, sadly they are permanently closed. Camera: Minolta Maxxum 9000, Quantaray 28-80 lens.
Leslie and I are setting up this space at the Full Circle Village, an antique and resale mall, located on the north side of Beeville on bus. Hway 181 (aka - Washington). I still have a lot of work to do before it is right and will do some of that later today. Beeville is having some great weather today - Y'all come!!!
The small print on the door of this resale shop is rather amusing. I never know when I go by if they will be open or closed.

She is hollow and does not have the T&T waist ...
could that mean that she's an early version ?? ... '60s?/'70s?
Her ethnic costume is unfamiliar to me. It's bodice is a bit over-sized and seems made to fit some differently proportioned doll,
but it's nicely made so I will tailor it to fit.
