Daniel's younger sister approached us once she realised that we were taking images in the cemetery of graves, many of which are probably unknown to us. Once she realised our photos would be made public, she asked us if we would please take a photo of her brother's grave.

We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Yam's photo request: something I've never taken a photo of
I've never taken photos of my handwriting, or in this case, my attempts at calligraphy.
MY wife *hated* my "Uncrossed" picture (or so she says) but then suggested this shot to me last night.
This will be another picture that my
sister-in-law will ask me- How did you do that?"
Any other reasonable requests?

I tend to only make mailart when people put in requests for Andy's eBay Sharpies and he can't draw them. He's really bad with flowers so asked me to do this one. Then he pointed out that there were no flowers on this picture. Always a critic!

My friend Powell requested that I design some non-player characters for his upcoming Mage: The Ascension campaign.
I got some brief descriptions of them and went to town. Quickly sketching them there and then before his eyes. My obvious favorite to draw was the woman.
I also loved how Powell was already altering the character's behavior & personalities in his mind after seeing what I produced.
