I had to frog the first sweater I'd ever made (it didn't fit) and I'm making this sweater instead. This is half way thru the yoke.

My dinner from the night before was a delicious pasta dish - a recipe from Henning. Whole wheat pasta, steamed broccoli, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and veegz parmesan. Tonight I added mixed greens, sprouts, extra crushed pepps and lemon juice. It was just as good as the first round!

Pictures of the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport in New York City on November 5th, 2022. This hotel's central public spaces are in the repurposed TWA Flight Center that served as their global gateway from 1962 to 2001. One of the most iconographic airport buildings in the world, the TWA Flight Center was designed by Eero Saarinen and associates. The large space is known as the Head House, and remains almost as designed for its opening in 1962. Sadly, Saarinen died one year prior to the opening of the building. The TWA Hotel opened in 2019 and was a major project to save the building that remained empty at JFK Airport from 2001 until 2015 when the plans were announced. Two additional buildings were added to house the 512 guest rooms. Enjoyed some time in the Constellation plane that serves as a bar. It's called Connie. Pam is an artist at the 2nd OOAK Doll Festival being held at the TWA Hotel from November 2nd through the 5th.

The old Lego bins are getting a new lease on life in our mailing center. Funny how different uses can help you newly appreciate things you have taken for granted for years.

This is the little skirt I made out of Denise's favorite jumper dress that she had long outgrown.

This building was once part of the Collins Company. Note how the wall has been modified to accept a modern door. I'm not sure what the sign in the window is supposed to mean.

glass fronted (terrible) restaurant reopens as 'suomi'-based restaurant, including fake wooden walls built just inside the glass. Nuts.
