Decided to give my new kenner raven a new body since her original body lost its bottom and the crack on her body is so big and it cannot support takara legs.
Got a Takara body and started sawing her neck to insert a new 'Kenner Like' plastic neck.

I replaced the tire pressure gauge pouch's cinch cord with a length of neon green paracord. stormdrane.blogspot.com/2018/10/cinch-cord-replacement.html
The cordlock in the photo is the new one that came on the pouch cinch cord, but using my fingernail/thumbnail to try and scrape off a piece of excess plastic leftover from the molding process scratched up the cheap plastic.
Anchor has discontinued their Multicolors - flosses numbered 1300-1390. I've identified replacements for all 24 flosses. Some are DMC and some are ThreadworX and all of them are lovely. More information here: ancoracrafts.com/anchor-variegated-floss-replacements/
The treehouse from last year had its floor undone, likely from kids jumping on the bouncy bamboo slats followed by the gales of the monsoons. Double-thick plastic-impregnated plywood might last a few months longer?
luckily my cousins had a Fianna doll that has a really close, (if not the same) Makeup screening. only major diffferences are that she is a Early Bratz, so her screening is less vibrant I guess, and she has a left parting and curly/wavy hair. I think this is an indeed sign, this fianna is an upgrade. LOL! Sonya upgraded! (Hopefully Carla allows her...) P.S, What Fianna is this??

The Greenville Subdivision was closed today so that Maintenance of Way forces could remove and replace ties between Campbell and Farmersville. A tie extractor/insertion makes short work of tie replacement.
It was 10:30pm, a couple nights after I put up my big response to the ransom note. Someone knocked on our door, and I had no idea who it was! Scary at this time of night with in my neighborhood, where my door has been kicked in before. I demanded my sister's boyfriend go answer the door for me, but it turned out to be a neighbor from down the street.
He came bearing gifts of Unicorn!!! His name was Josh, and he said he was sad that our unicorn was stolen, so he made us a new one. He apologized for the frame, he said it was the best one he could get, to which I said NO PROBLEM! You didn't have to make this! I proceeded to show him how the unicorn would go will with my cutesy-rainbow tchotchkes in my bedroom, complete with carebears and brightly colored salt cupcake salt shakers.
It appears to be color pencil, and it's awfully cute! Of course, this is nothing like the original, and its smaller, so it doesn't really make sense where the old one was. (Plus I don't want another unicorn stolen....). I still mourn my old unicorn, but it's nice to see some of the goodwill of the neighborhood!

During the early hours of Tuesday 12th April a fire broke out in the old Hermitage Primary School building in Helensburgh. The building was boarded up and not in use.
I had attended this school from 1972 to 1975
However due to its close proximity to the new replacement primary school buildings, dating from approx 1974, it was treated as a major incident with at least ten Fire Engines and three Turntable units attending from across a large area including Bellshill, Cove, Dumbarton and Paisley.
The firemen and firewomen succeeded in containg the fire to the older building.
These photos were taken long after the roof had collapsed and the main efforts were on dealing with external parts of the building and dampening down.
The old glass windows were certainly well made as they wouldn't break under sustained pressure from the aerial hose in attempts to reach inside the building.
