These irrigators are seen in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR grasslands. A small herd of American Bison (buffalos), and Elk call these grasslands home.
On my morning photowalk in a rainy Turin I spotted this person in a Union Jack raincoat. Colors and lines, might be something here.
With a stroke of luck a water post, the raincoat and the traffic sign aligned just right.
Hope you enjoy!
Last minute idea and entry for the "Flame" theme. I actually wanted to skip, but then remembered that pair of "kaleidoscope glasses" once bought as a gimmick at a museum. This must be the quickest MM shot I've ever taken. From taking the photo, some ultra-fast processing in Topaz Sharpen AI and ON1 Photo RAW to the upload in 39 minutes ;-) I wish it could always be that uncomplicated ;-)
This is one single tealight which I'd placed in front of a mirror and then photographed it through the above mentioned pair of faceted glasses.
HMM, Everyone, stay safe and healthy, and have a nice week ahead!
This image was taken on my back porch at one of my desks. One vase after another, book on top of book, and pencil next to pencil.
I tried different approaches on this daily perpetual calendar, but I prefer the shallow depth of field and painterly look of this image (I think that might come as no real surprise for most of those who know me here on Flickr ; ))

A squirrel pauses as an eastbound freight train approaches at Mile Post 70 of the Union Pacific Railroad Geneva Subdivision in Creston, Illinois. No worries, the squirrel got out of the way in plenty of time. In fact, after crossing the tracks, he even found a train nut :)

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Repeating Patterns. One is a little more fluid than the other. HMMM!
