When you ask for silliness, sometimes you get silliness! As part of the RHCBC Christmas dinner event this year, the organizers asked me to create two photo setups for guests to have some fun and capture some memories.
I think the formal portrait background was far more popular, but this goofy "pop out of a present box" set took far longer to put together. Thanks to a couple of helpful folks a few hours before the event, the box frame was hammered together and appropriately adorned. Then, it was just a matter of getting people to actually *be* silly.
I find it's quite hard for most people to willfully appear silly in front of a camera.
In any case, I considered this group to be my best repeat customers on this set - they came by three or four times. This is the one that I think worked best.

Ben has his own snow cover strategem.
1. Sniff along the surface.
2. Suddenly stick his (impressive) nose as far down into the snow as he can and snuffle about for a distance of 4-8 inches.
3. Flip his nose out of snow at the proper angle to send snow flying both in the opposite direction and onto his face.
4. Repeat as desired.
Now you know.
