anyone know what this is used for? looks like someone found it in or near the parking lot and propped it up on the lamp stand

A remote control for a 20" Sun monitor I had while at university. The monitor never came to London; i've no idea why, four years on, the remote control is here.

My new Harmony remote is still asking for software to be installed, but at least now it's fully charged and ready to program!
