This is a toy my brother bought himself off ebay, its a programmable truck, you type in the directions and it goes. His one we had when we where younger met an unfortunate end when I introduced it to the stairs. :-p

The remote for the new digital TV recorder which I finally managed to set up with the new TV that we bought before Christmas.
A remarkable little remote building. Mid 12th century in construction and though it has obviously been maintained down the centuries it is basically as built A must see site.
Even the cat guards the bloody remote! Maybe it's because he's a Tom. I don't get a look in. Thank God for Flickr :-)

I found a disc of hi-res scans of my St. Kilda pics that I have never loaded onto the computer before. They have a wonderful vintage feel thanks to the diffusion of sea spray on the lens and the misty ambiance of the weather that day.

Me observing the Milky Way and starry skies above. It was a stunning sky indeed! This was in a remote location just west of I-5. You couldn't find skies like these back home... Pic taken Wednesday evening, September 21, 2016 at around 9:20 p.m. This was during our stargazing outing to Firebaugh, CA. I was with my cousin, Loraine and Ian.
Originally, I wanted to stargaze with only my cousin but I wanted to invite the whole gang last minute (like the day prior). Thankfully, my dad fixed the radiator of my car so I 'guess' it's good to drive long distance with it once again lol. We first stopped at Tracy, CA to eat dinner at the Black Bear Diner. Boy, the traffic was ridiculous along the way though! After eating our dinner (and giving my feet a break), we headed south along Interstate 5 to head to the stargazing spot I found on Google maps. It was along Little Panoche Rd, just west of I-5. The experience of heading out into the middle of nowhere with my gang and all you can see are stars and the Milky Way Galaxy for light was priceless. Despite the windy, chilly conditions, we had fun. We headed back by 11 p.m. or so. To end the evening, we ate our late dinner at the China Palace Restaurant in Milpitas. This was probably the biggest trip done with the TRIO+Ian so far. It was exhausting! Until next time, safe travels! Thanks for tagging along guys!

I gave up on trying to include a fig, too difficult with the traversing mechanism I was using to include him and not have the back all bulbous. So, I present my remotely operated light tank. The fender thing on the front is based on Tayasunne's bumper thing on his APC's. Probably more use on an urban thing, but then there isn't much use for a tank at all in a jungle.... Darn... Oh who cares, this is the future baby!
