It works! Built myself a wired remote for my XTi.

Right now it only activates the shutter. Eventually I'm going to build a wireless relay using some sort of key ring finder to activate the shutter.

Our new smaller remote rig. Basically a laptop running RadioDJ, a mixer, and two mics. The tablet to the right was used for looking up news and weather. It's hard to see in this photo, but the music library for Remote 02 lives on a micro thumb drive (128 GB) poking out of the left side of the laptop. It's smaller than a person's pinky nail and holdes over 17,0000 tracks.

So I finally found my VCR remote after a year when doing big Spring cleaning. Yeah, I threw it away... But not before taking a few pictures...
This is obviously the remote office of the one who created Kauai! After creating such grandeur one would obviously want to visit regularly!
