A remote control for XBMC that I'm writing in html/css/js, based on the Nokia WRT specs, running in the WRT test-environment. I used the test-tool for the screenshot because it's easier than making a photo of the app running on my actual phone!
Yong Nuo RF-602, great for remote triggering ;)

the room was not large enough to completely cover his head. I found it nice to work with DPP, reducing highlights to get a smooth skin ton.

Now what's cool is listening to the Sony DR-BT21G Bluetooth headset while running Apples Remote app on the iPhone. Turn your computer screen off, put the bluetooth headset on, chill out on the sofa and control your music with your iPhone. When a call comes in the Sony DR-BT21G will automatically pause your iTune music and answer the call.
My new speakers (Altec Lansing VS3151R) came with the tiniest remote control. I've included my mobile phone in the line-up to assist with scale.

As our collection of remote controls continues to grow, I decided it was time to build something for them. Tore up a pair of jeans that had a few too many holes for patching (like the big long one that travelled down half the leg), grabbed out my Singer Simple and some pins and gave it a go. I'm so pleased with how it came out and so is the boyfriend. (The big pocket - that's for the xbox controller)
The helicopter is weed spraying on the steep hillsides & ridges of this remote sheep & drystock farm in beautiful North Island. NZ

A tourist bus gets ready to leave the little enclave of stuff at John Ford Point. Something about this scene with just this one bus makes this place seem much more remote to me than it would look if I'd walked forward and gotten a picture that showed no human existence at all. I could almost convince myself this was someplace in the middle of Mongolia.

Even a remote can have a face
For those of you who don't know...
One thing I'm really trying to work on is my ability to spot things and create meaning out of them. So my new on going theme is finding faces in inanimate objects.
