and I looooove them both.
It makes photographing myself and others SO much easier.

June 13 165/366- Today being Friday the 13th I thought of a lot of clever things to do, but never got that ambitious. So after reading about night exposures in a book today I thought I would try some. Used a timer on a tripod since I didn't have a remote for the camera, figured since I was using a timer I may as well get in the picture. The lighting near me is from a sodium streetlight so I'm pretty orange. House is the usual lights we have on at night.
My new speakers (Altec Lansing VS3151R) came with the tiniest remote control. I've included my mobile phone in the line-up to assist with scale.

Crisp Point Light sits on a remote portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula along the Lake Superior shore. The lighthouse sits west of Paradise and north of Newburry and was completed by 1904. It is quite an adventure to get there, but it is a beautiful site. Were there no black biting flies, it would have been a perfect day. I will write about this later. Still, I was able to get around while being eaten alive by the worst bugs on the planet.
so i got this new remote thing and ive been playing with it for the last hour... still dont have it down pact, im waiting for my tripod to get here so i gotta make due till then!

Right now it only activates the shutter. Eventually I'm going to build a wireless relay using some sort of key ring finder to activate the shutter.
