REJECT China shop. Does that mean you have to be a reject to shop there? Or is that where all the bad china goes? Either way, the name is amusing.

Built during the Roman Empire.
Fortified and enlarged by Roger II of Sicily in 1134.
Raided and set on fire by Ferdinand of Aragon in 1460.
Taken back to its old magnificence by Dukes of Carafa until the end of Bourbon Kingdom of Naples.
Occupied by the troops of Garibaldi in 1860, and then abandoned.
Sacked and plundered by Allies of World War II.
Now abandoned and giving way.
People of Maddaloni will regret about that only when it will collapse once and for all.

Outside Wild Flavors in Kentucky somewhere. It's on the way to the airport. Vent Haven was closed and we drive by this everytime we go to/leave the airport. I said "We like flavors. Let's stop!' Unfortunately they were not open. But this vat of rejected flavor (I believe it was "Wolfberry" sat outside.

invariably some shots get shoved aside after passing first inspection. my reject folder has a stack of photographs that, for one reason or another, i'm not happy with. occasionally i'll just attack them in photoshop, but a few just need time to percolate in my head in order to reveal their potential.
this shot i'm done with - it could be revisited later if i decide to punish my brain again.
this guy was doing a little early x-mas shopping. I hope I get that "Back To The Future" hover board, and not that broken guitar. Who knows what other goodies he will find in the trash since he's starting so early in the season. I havent begun my shopping yet, but since they refill these garbage cans daily, im not really all that worried.
Maybe I should start putting up my rejects. Everyone takes pictures of a carved apple with a heart in it. I just wanted to try something different.
