I’ve known this little pond for some years now and it is always a walk back to old memories. And what’s better to start year than starting your year with a little refreshment walk in your forest next door. I already knew the good spots to get a decent shot but the way is becoming more and more overgrown by bushes and trees.

I considered doing a "Raider's of the Lost Ark"-style switcheroo.

By this time we'd given up trying to pronounce Māori names of the towns!
