Peony blooms were the flower of the week last week, this week it's the acid yellows of the Achillea. Frothy blooms still the Lady's Mantle but joined by elderflower. These are joined by penstemons, hosta blooms and wildflowers. These are all plants growing in my garden.

Everybody has the ability to start something. To some it may seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. This talk will be a frank discussion about ways to start and deliver successful products.
Building mobile apps provides a unique perspective into the challenges of creating successful products. An app can have different users, business goals, design, development and marketing challenges. Based on experiences and insights Chris will share some real world examples, you will hear about what worked, and what doesn’t, tales of starting from nothing, to thinking and delivering big.

About Chris
Chris runs Belfast-based mobile user-experience company Ecliptic Labs, which acts as an incubator to excellent products such as Performa Sports. Since 2009 he has worked with over 60 companies from startups to global brands delivering mobile apps.
About Refresh
Refresh is a bi-monthly event for the designers and developers of Belfast's web community to get together to share stories, discuss ideas, talk about principles and debate technique. Each Refresh is centred around a short talk and, of course, there's plenty of beer and conversation to be had too.

Atto Partners is a team of designers and developers who make useful work by asking far, far too many questions.
>0 of them will explore how biases and heuristics conspire to make us think that everyone else is stupid and that we’re dead clever, like. They’ll explore whether it’s possibly possible that other people are smarter than we think, and discuss what we might do about that.

Here comes our Home Refresh Series 5! In record, we have covered areas including Senja, Ang Mo Kio, Geylang East and Telok Blangah. Today we are at Bukit Batok and Jurong West, part of Jurong GRC.
Thank you to all volunteers of diverse backgrounds for coming here today with the #SpiritOfCaring to our beneficiaries in fostering social cohesion and multi-generation interaction in Bukit Batok and Jurong neighbourhoods.
We greatly appreciate the support given by Jurong Central, Bukit Batok & Bukit Batok East IRCCs, South West CDC and Bukit Gombak Grassroots Organisations towards our youth-led initiative. In Teesside there are hundreds of creative businesses who can benefit from knowing each other. Many of the businesses are relatively small in size, focusing on a specific skill or service. Everyone can benefit from knowing other professionals in their own trades and networking with other professionals who offer skills and services they may require in the future.
Registration will be between 6 and 6.30pm. We will greet you and ensure you are registered. At 6.30pm there will be an introduction to the event with any announcements. After this, it’s up to you to get out of the event what you want.
There will be developers with their laptops out sharing code and working on problems. There will be freelance developers and designers looking to connect with agencies. There will be photographers looking to offer their services to others. There will be business owners who may be recruiting. Most importantly there will be creative people networking with their peers.
There will be light food, kindly provided by Capaldi’s, during the evening. The bar will be open. The event officially finishes at 9pm.
