A little sign of life from me, it's been a while again. Hope everyone's fine out there! :)

This is one of 3 sneak peeks of Kasumi with her new Face up I did some time ago. It was the third try on her and definitely the best result I had for her since then, when you ask me. I totally love it and I'm much satisfied, what's definitely rare for me. XD *lol* My most favourite part of her is the lip blushing with the two-toned lip lines (white and brown colored). It was a kind of little experiment with the lip lines and I'm fully happy with how it came out. <333 *love*

I know she definitely looks much different than before, she looks much more naturally now with a tiny bit more colors. Also she got another style this time for this pictures for some reasons, but she's still herself and that's the main important thing for me. :)

Hope you'll like Kasumis new look, too! <333

On this capture, I was drawn to the light shining on the patron inside. This looked like it would be a good black and white image with the contrast of the dark exterior and the light illuminating the people inside. What's even cooler is the sign on the door that says "Refresh Responsibly". This coupled with a quick gulp from his Miller Lite makes a good juxtaposition capture. so many of my wonderful flickr friends are recording their daily pleasures or YIP, and it is very inspiring to me. i enjoy seeing those shots so much! while i'd probably crack from the pressure of a daily shot, i love the idea of capturing that part of life. so, i'm starting a new set "it's the little things", and am going to try focusing more on those things in my life that make me happy and grateful.

thanks to all of you for your inspiration, and making me slow down to look for those moments!

I thought these little drinks were so cute I couldn't resist getting some but the kids are anxious to drink them and of course I got them for pictures!108/365

More later (traveling home today)

Flickr friend have a great SUNDAY

Looking like it had some new paint put on it recently, UP 5310 leads a westbound stack train past the Rochelle Railroad Park in Rochelle, IL.

It was a gorgeous, gorgeous morning.

The new beard’s something I’m experimenting with. I’m not thrilled that I’m going to be 52 this year, but fighting it doesn’t seem the way forward. We’ll see how it develops!

I realized I hadn't quite shown Guórén/Jinsuke's refreshed faceup head-on, have I?

Coupled with those eyes that can appear fierce or gentle depending on the situation, he now looks like the Lion Clan half-gaijin bushi that he is.

This was taken all the way back in May. Southeastern were renewing the logos on the class 376 and 465, which now seems to have stopped. Before then I also noticed quite a lot of the seat moquette on the 376s had been replaced with the same pattern they currently have.

Southeastern announced a refurbishment programme for the class 376 before this happened, so these renewals are interesting. I don't believe any units have been sent for refurb yet. Perhaps it means the programme has been postponed or cancelled?

You can see how thick the layer of dirt is on Southeastern's fleet. Their trains are rarely clean on the outside, but to be fair internal cleanliness is more important.

a photo I took to illustrate an article for a very good friend's blog.

It's called "les carnets de Dorothée" :

An old painted advertisement on James St. North, Hamilton. There are lots of these being revealed as buildings get knocked down.
