As this is a 365 days project the tapestry diary entry has to be made before the end of the day and I had to come up with a decision. I decided to use a smaller plastic bag, because the big one filled with water was too heavy and I did not want to risk that. I found a smaller one, packaging material of something I had bought somewhen, and had kept for re-using. Unfortunately no fish is printed on it like on the other one, but it fits better in the place where I wanted it to be.

Die Aufnahme wurde mit zwei Systemblitzköpfen ausgeleuchtet. Ein Blitzkopft mit einem Reflektor und Wabenaufsatz von links vorne neben der Kamera. Ein weiterer Blickkopf mit Snoot und Wabenaufsatz hinter der Acrylrückwand, der einen leichten Schein um den Buntstift zaubert.
Der Stift hing an einem schwarzen Bindfaden, der in Photoshop entfernt wurde.
The picture was illuminated with two system flash heads. A flash head with a reflector and honeycomb attachment from the left front next to the camera. Another viewing head with snoot and honeycomb attachment behind the acrylic back wall, which conjures a light glow around the crayon.
The pen was attached to a black string, which was removed in Photoshop.

Stativaufnahme. Mit Reflektor aufgehellt. Das Kamera-DNG wurde mit Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop "entwicklelt".
Strobist info: Das Bild wurde mit 2 Aufsteckblitzen aufgenommen, wobei beide den hinteren Reflektor angeblitzt haben.
Heute Nachmittag war ich kurz im Wals nahe Engelsbrand. Es gibt zur Zeit sehr vile unterschiedliche Pilze. Ich habe mit dem Bohnensack gearbeitet und Fokus-Bracketing im Freien geübt. Leider hatte ich weder eine Taschenlampe noch einen Reflektor dabei.

"How do we reshape the image of reality to make it fit in more smoothly with our own ideas and what we are used to? What does this distorted image say about how our own perception works, and what does it reveal about us?
Carsten Nicolai’s works are often organised around situations that focus on factors disturbing usual forms of perception or creative processes distorting our perception of reality. In his reflektor distortion, the image of fluorescent tubes is reflected on the surface of the water in a bowl placed in front of them. This reflection is constantly distorted and transformed by the rotation of the bowl and the low-frequency sound vibrations coming from speakers. On the surface of the water, which is moved in a circular motion by the centrifugal force, the interferences of the waves created by the sound vibrations produce different distortions and reshape the image reflected from the strictly parallel fluorescent tubes and the reality around us."

Strobist info: Das Bild wurde mit 3 Aufsteckblitzen geschosssen, wobei jeweils einer von der Seite, und einer hat den hinteren schwarzen Reflektor angeblitzt wurde.
Hier mal so etwas wie ein Selfie.
Nur ohne Selfiestick.
Und ohne Handy.
Und ohne Attraktion im Hintergrund.
Die Attraktion hat ausgelöst, das Handy war aus und mit meinen Stäbchen esse ich lieber Sushi.
Und falls irgendjemand hier draußen neugierig ist; ich habe gerade meine erste eigene Homepage gebastelt und würde mich freuen, wenn der eine oder andere mal draufschaut, bevor ich anfange sie zu bewerben und in Suchmaschinen sichtbar zu machen. Über ein winziges Feedback würde ich mich freuen. Es fehlen noch die mobile Version, eine Kontaktseite und ein Gästebuch o.ä. Da bin ich noch in der Findungsphase.

Schachbrettfalter am Morgen mit Durchlichtreflektor abgeschattet und mit gold/silber Reflektor aufgehellt
Die beiden Kaffeebohnen wurden mit einem LED Licht von unten durch eine weiße Acrylglasplatte beleuchtet, wodurch der Freisteller entstand. Von oben links (leicht vor dem Objekt) wurden die Kaffeebohnen mit einem Reflektor mit Wabenaufsatz und Abschirmklappen beleuchtet.
The two coffee beans were illuminated with an LED light from below through a white acrylic glass plate, creating the cutout. From the top left (slightly in front of the object) the coffee beans were illuminated with a reflector with honeycomb attachment and barn doors.

Fotoausstellung 2022 - Thema: Nichtigkeit
Vom Mittelalter bis heute verknüpfen Vanitas-Stillleben "Eitelkeit" und "Vergänglichkeit" mit unserem Leben. Dabei spielen die arrangierten Gegenstände eine gravierende sinnbildliche Rolle.
Mit meiner modernen Interpretation der Vanitas-Stillleben möchte ich den Betrachter zu einer aktiven gedanklichen Teilnahme auffordern und zu einer Selbstreflexion des heutigen Überflusses anregen.
Das verbindende Element der Serie ist je ein modernes Objekt sowie das Stilmittel der Levitation-Fotografie (schwebende Gegenstände).
From the Middle Ages to the present day, vanitas still lifes link vanity and transience with our lives. In this context, the arranged objects play a grave symbolic role.
With my modern interpretation of the vanitas still life, I would like to invite the viewer to an active mental participation and to stimulate a self-reflection on today's abundance.
The unifying element of the series is one modern object each as well as the stylistic device of levitation photography (floating objects).
