reflections of some peaks at the Gandasee

The reflections of the icebergs on the lake were unearthly. No wind. Two kayaks. We felt alone.

Just a reflection in a puddle, not long till sunset on a winter afternoon.

My reflection... is to say how blessed I am to have such wonderful Flickr friends. You inspire me with your images and take me to all corners of the world. Thank you so much for your continued support:)

This imposing mansion sits in 1400 acres of deer park, with views across Manchester & the Cheshire plains. The estate was owed by the Legh family for over six hundred years, originally built as a hunting lodge, it was transformed by Thomas Legh during the regency period heyday. The lavish interiors reflecting the great days in British estate life. This photograph was taken over the Reflection Lake, a classic shot for Lyme Park

These are the buildings facing the beach in Aberystwyth. The sun is setting over the sea at this time and the starlings are coming in to roost under the pier (you can see some flying in, top left), a thoroughly pleasant place to be on a balmy autumn evening.

I just fancied this angle on the paddling pool that is there for children to enjoy in the summer.

Sunset photo in the comments.

This image was captured from a boat, sharing the waterway with this Dragon boat.

This perspective made the Dragonboat look shorter and more compact than its actual size.

Sunday morning I had a cold photo walk at Landgoed Eerde near Ommen.

If you see something in the coming photos that may be right, the lens has been damaged after a fall with me :-) last week, the tube of the lens is probably bent by the blow, so I am no longer satisfied with the sharpness and a few more things, I have been able to do quite a bit with editing

Shot for Our Daily Challenge :“Reflections”

A winters view of reflections in the River Seven at Sinnington in North Yorkshire, England. Without leaves on the trees the reflections are more open to see.

Sinnington is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of the county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located on the southern boundary of the North York Moors National Park (Wiki)

Autumn reflection on a pond at the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge in the Bitterroot Valley in western Montana.

Taken in the grounds of Gosford Estate, East Lothian, Scotland, 2018.

I was standing on brick ground shooting down through the window, at the cat that was sitting on the floor, inside a shop in downtown Grand Rapids. Hence, the reflection is the ground I was standing on. This was taken several years ago.

Thanks for views, comments and favs :)

A beautiful Blue Heron does the stalk-walk out from the shore to find a place to hunt. The slight breeze gave a watercolor reflection.

Pond reflections, Fife, Scotland

This building is one of the few remaining examples of domestic Norman architecture in England.

Constructed in about 1160, these rooms provided elegant and comfortable living quarters for the lord of Christchurch. As a high status building, it was made of stone rather than timber which has ensured its preservation until today. The tall circular Norman chimney is a particularly rare survival. The building later became the home of the lord's constable or bailiff.
