Trinity Church and another building seem to become one in the reflections on the glass-skinned Hancock Tower.
Although this bird is searching for food, I noticed thats he/she appears to be looking at it's own reflection

Noticed this surprising reflection in a large store front window in Benson. The glass had such a waviness to it I couldn't get the image in focus, but at least the colors came through. On Elm Street.
De ontwerpers: Leo Aerts (Alinea), Marina Bautier, Michaël Bihain, Susanna Campogrande & Lise Casalegno Marro (Allerretour), Xavier De Clippeleir, Alex De Witte, Simon Desmet & Timothy Macken (MaDe), Nathalie Dewez, Jean-François d’Or (Loudordesign studio), Luc Druez (LcD Textile Edition), Nedda El-Asmar & Erik Indekeu, Marie Gobert, Linde Hermans (Rode schoentjes), Bieke & Patrick Hoet, David Huycke, Bart Lens, Xavier Lust, Stefan Schöning, Diane Steverlynck, Ben Storms, Mathias Van De Walle (MVDW Workshop), Ann Van Hoey, Danny Venlet, Jules Wabbes, Sylvain Willenz.
De bedrijven: AGC Glass Europe, Dark, Deknudt Mirrors & Reflect+, Eternum, Fiam Italia, Ligne Roset, Linadura, Objekten, valerie_traan Gallery, Vervloet, Wever & Ducré, Zeri Crafts.
Not a good image quality wise. But it reminds me of a TV program that used to terrify me when I was a child. I made it a little spooky on purpose :)
I had won to tickets to Grand Designs Live at London Excell and at the last minute my partner in crime couldn't make it so I plucked up courage and went on my own. The train ride up there was fine and the show was very interesting and if money was no object I could have spent a fortune any way after a couple of hours I had had enough. I knew that the train back wasn't until after 7pm so decided to walk from Excell back to Victoria. Lots to see and a lot of things from a different point of view. So lots of images
More reflections than building
It was strange going back to the school I studied abroad at in Norway. It felt so different this time, like I didn't really belong anymore. So weird. Anyway, it's always cool for crazy reflections though.
The July 15, 2012 Brighton cruise night in downtown Brighton, Michigan. Brighton is a small city about sixteen miles north of Ann Arbor at the crossing of U.S. 23 and I-96.
This mid-summer cruise-in was graced by a rather sudden storm with fairly heavy rain for fifteen minutes or so. During and after the storm we had some fantastic light and pavement reflections.
Reflections - Osthafen, Berlin, Deutschland/Germany

The "Osthafen" is operating since 1913, a former industrial port on the "Spree" in Berlin. Along it leads the Stralauer Allee. On his site several media companies are located.

Another 2-hour training class today... this time on a new system that will be a HUGE improvement from the previous version... I'm actually excited about this one.
All the training desks have the monitors set under a glass-top desk ( as seen here). The screen in the picture is the reflection of the monitor on the glass (which is why it's upside down).
Houses reflected in the canal. The water was as smooth as a mirror with not even a water fowl to disturb the surface.

This summer has been very busy. Work, my daughter getting married, work, my son moving out, work and more work. Today I was finally able to take a break and think about taking some photos. I have been wanting to work on water drop reflections lately. Tonight my wife wanted to go gather some books to donate to our daughters teachers classroom. Right before we were to leave I looked outside and noticed that the last light of evening was perfect. I grabbed my tripod (an adventure in and of itself. I had to locate parts from the relocation of said tripod by my two year old). I put my macro lens on and set out to get the photo set up. These plants are both found in my garden. The cactus is a cold weather cactus and the flower is indian blanketflower. I misted the cactus and then started shooting.
This shot would not have been possible without a tripod and a cable release.
The specs:
Iso 200
105mm
f/40
5 second exposure
I did minimal treatment in Lightroom 3 and then published it.
I like the reflections of the flowers in the water droplets.
I like the contrast of the cactus and water.
I like the detail found on the cactus.
I like how many drops are found.
I would like to not have the thorn reflections over the flowers.
