I was pretty excited when I discovered this view at the Reflection Pool. If you get down on your knee, the American flag is reflected in the pool. I thought this was super cool.
When I did some research about this pool I found out that it was designed for this exact purpose! As stated on the website of the designer: The pool is located so as to reflect a large American flag in the distance when viewed from the proper angle.
Someone told me once (Can't remember who though) that one time a woman thought the pool was something solid and she tried to sit on it! That would something funny to see…
Unedited puddle reflection of Amsterdam. Taken with my Sony HX1. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
It's Friday, it's rainy&stormy outside, so I've decided to entertain you with some random reflection shots taken some years ago with my old camera. I wish you an awesome day and a wicked weekend, enjoy, take care :)
If you get a chance, go and visit my Solo Expo at the cafe 'Van de Buurt' in the west of Amsterdam :)

This Photo has been taken when the center of Tirana had a fountain, the reflection of the building is on this fountain, it was made with a very unprofessional camera, a HP Photosmart E327. Now that I have the equipment, it is impossible to remake the photography.
This hotel was the proud of our communism era
Long Exposure made possible by holding the camera to the fountain border
"Balanced Reflection"
Arches National Park, Utah, USA

Water gathered in small pools all over the sandstone basins of the area immediately after a winter snow storm, providing an opportunity to capture Balanced Rock in a reflection. I shot this one a few hours before sunset, while clouds still gathered on the distant horizon. In the distant background are Turret Arch and the La Sal Mountains. Another great adventure with Dustin LeFevre and Steve Howa.
Mr Worm is heading to the pool today! My first exploration with instagram. I love how convenient it is, you don't have to have your big camera with you, you can just have your little ipod or iphone in your pocket!
Happy Worm's Eye VIew everyone! (yes, I did get wet laying in a pool side puddle! ☺ )
I am spending the week at the Twin Lakes Star Party in the Pennyrile State Forest outside Dawson Springs Kentucky. This is a beautiful place in the fall and I am having a blast hiking and photographing during the day and observing with my telescope at night. I fit a little sleep in between when I can. This is a seven exposure HDR photo of Pennyrile Lake from atop the dam.

This Autumn season is really spoiling me with plenty or rain, new puddles get created almost every day and I really have to force myself not to spend all my time hunched over wet spots on the pavement, I mean, really, there are more important things in life then to take photos of wicked reflections, for example...hmmmm, can't really think of anything, maybe I'll come up with something while I'll shoot some more puddles, lol :D

I was photographing the opening of a new pool on the tiny island of Tomma in Northern Norway, when I decided to look for something a bit different.
As I was taking some pics of the kids, standing all lined up and eagerly awaiting the opportunity to jump into the new pool, I looked down and noticed how the tiles lined up well with the reflection of the children and the big windows behind them.
It was a shot just waiting to happen.
