For this weeks Sunday Challenge.. its reflections!! :)

The last of my Vienna shots for now. This one was a quick snap of the reflections against one of the more modern office buildings. Got a bit lazy with the f-stop here, should have been at least f8 really.

I loved the whimsy of this closed sign, but I loved the gazing ball in the window that is a close repetition of the mirror I shot just up the street. Combine this with the reflection of the building across the street in the window I was sold!

Have a good look to distinguish what is real and what is a reflection. Photo without manipulation.

Reflections in the harbour in Falmouth

Time for reflection on roof top.

That is what I felt like when I took this shot. I saw this guy striding down the street and I really wanted to take his picture but you know how sometimes you just know it isn't the right time? Or maybe I was just chicken. But I was standing next to a shop window and in the window was a mirror and I knew that pretty soon, in that mirror was going to be my guy's reflection and that reflection was going to be in my camera and then on Flickr. And that is just what happened.

This was taken from the Thompson Island hiking path in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. Nikon D7000 with a Nikkor 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 zoom lens.

Analog Vs Digital Series

The Haas Haus in Vienna always offers a different view—sometimes even of the past.

In its mirror façade: layers of history, fragments of architecture, and a portrait half revealed.

It’s like the city is watching itself.
