This is another night shot from White Pocket in Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Arizona

Sometimes we are in the right place at the right time. Often it is the opposite, but for this instance, the moment was about to deliver. When turning to my left after an initial shot, I noticed the reflections of the tree tops in a left over puddle.

I repositioned my tripod and a marvellous reflection took shape. After also elevating my tripod, the reflection were just right and another colourful sunset image took a vert different and artful form.

Good to find a couple of male Blue-winged Teal. Migration has been unusually slow this year.

A crisp morning walk along the shores of Loch Lomond Scotland allowed me to capture this shot of Scotlands most Southern Munroe (a mountain over 3000 feet high) Ben Lomond and its reflection on the loch below.

Taken at Rhossili Beach, Gower. One of those rare days when the light was beautiful and constantly changing with some super reflections on the wet sand. Hope you like it!

I made this picture a few years ago. Reposting to mention that pictures I have made will be appearing at a show at 356 Holloway Road London N7 in October 2017 and will run for 3 Months so European and World contacts can build a visit to it into their trips to London!

I took a drive out to my farm in the Little Karoo again this weekend… I left really early on Saturday morning... hoping to reach the Touws river bridge in time for sunrise… which I missed by about twenty minutes!

That didn’t prevent me from stopping at the river though… although the light wasn’t nearly as sweet as it was at sunrise… fortunately the sun was hidden behind some scattered clouds which reduced the intensity of the light… and fortunately there was no wind to spoil these perfect reflections! :)

Nikon D300, Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm, aperture of f11, with a 1/200th second exposure.

Reflections, Lake District National Park

Reflection of Mount Rundle in Two Jack Lake, Alberta. The mountain (2949m) was named after Reverend Robert Rundle who came from England to Canada in 1840 to work with First Nations people. The Cree name for Mt Rundle is Waskahigan Watchi.
