A lovely autumn day last Sunday and a trip to Cenarth Falls. here were some lovely reflections on the River Teify below the falls. Tried a few low shutter speed shots of the falls
Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people.

Big thanks to 'tanager22' for helping me identify birds!
Looking at my reflection in the mirror,
I am not content with myself
I am thinking about a comment
that was made by someone else
I stopped for a moment
and said to myself I can change that
although it was just a person's opinion
and not a proven fact
I took care of the problem,
to my friend's great contentment,
just in time to learn of another's resentment
I asked him: 'What is the problem'?
and he told me that it was my attitude
So I decided to change it
in order not to be rude
I then tried to win the affection
of someone who I really liked;
Instead she told me
that my personality wasn't quite right
I decided that it was time
for a personality change
because she told me
that my intuition was strange
Some people then told me
that I needed a makeover;
But, I did not argue
or see anything to debate over
I then changed my appearance,
much to their delight
But as I looked in the mirror
I was overtaken with fright
I was no longer myself
I was was now a different person
Trying to be someone who I was not,
it just was not working
I said I don't care what people think
I'm gonna be me;
I may not be perfect,
But, I like what I see!

Another option for today's CY prompt "reflection"...and totally fits Where I stand today....After a rain and wind storm, the birdbath is filled with pine needles, pine cones, branches and leaves. Today I scrubbed the slimy sides and bottom and refilled with new water. #whereistandtoday#ourwisproject

Director: Andy Wassenich
Associate Director: Elissa Goetschius
Featuring: Luke Cieslewicz, Lex Davis, Melissa Hmelnicky, Maya Jackson, Julie Roundtree and Akil Williams
Stage Manager: Sarah Magno Designed by: Daniel Mori
Additional souls who have lent valuable hands: Caitlin Griffin, Hannah Hessel and Sasha Olinick
About the show:
Since bringing our production of Twelfth Night to Saint Elizabeths Hospital last fall we have developed a unique relationship with this historical DC institution.
Over the course of the summer, Andy Wassenich (Wandering Souls company member) with the help and guidance of the Saint Elizabeth's staff has been leading a playwriting intensive with a handful of individuals in care at the hospital. At the end of this 8 week course each of the students will have written a ten minute play on the themes of recovery, overcoming adversity and hope.
In late August, a team of professional artists, designers, directors and dramaturge will come together to help bring these plays to life. Throughout the month of October the show will hit the road and bring the performance to our friends at DC's homeless shelters, retirement homes , schools, hospitals and other community centers.

A reflection in water at The San Antonio River Walk shot on Ektachrome Film in 1978. Taken with a Vivitar 35-105mm zoom lens on a Minolta SRT-101.
Out walking this morning and saw this reflection in Minnehaha Creek from a bridge. Unusual ice crystals. Best viewed as large as you can make it. The physical area this covered was about 6 by 4 feet.
Played with some fruit here.Pomagranate and seeds are on the mirrow and blue is the reflection of the sky. That was fun to do and I had a snack in front om me when I got hungry:) Visit @ www.emmelephotography.com

Just another reflection. This house is located on the grounds of "Kasteel Rosendael" in Rozendaal.
I like it even more than the Castle located there...
Die Spiegelung erinnert mich igendwie an die Maske aus dem Film "Scream".
The reflection reminds me on the mask of the film "scream".
Reflection of statues around the Roman Baths. I was drawn to the reflections in the water. The clouds in the sky reflected in the water look like daubs of paint from an artist's palette. The watery silhouettes looked a bit eerie and conjured up times gone by and evoked the atmosphere of the Roman Baths much more than any normal photo of the rooftop could do.
