I provide virtual reference on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in Second Life. I loved this pic because I was dressed in my Victorian best and thought the horned devil made a nice photogenic complement. Turned out to be a faculty member from another state. Always cool to meet new people I'd never run into otherwise.

The first reference to the Holy Trinity Church dates back to 1113. The Norman church was almost entirely destroyed by fire in 1257 (only the North porch survived). The rest of the church was rebuilt in the 13th century. In November 1940 the church survived the devastating bombing raids on Coventry thanks to the bravery of the Rev Clitheroe and others who prevented its destruction by fire.

The congregation in the past included Mary Ann Evans, who wrote under the pen name George Eliot.
