Bellingham waterfront redevelopment. Old tanks at Georgia Pacific Pulp Mill. Tall tanks are digester tanks which will likely stay put for art. Spherical acid tank has been moved to a new location about 1,000 feet away. It will be part of the new Waypoint Park.

The recently built Hyde Park House is on the left whilst the Victorian William Prettys factory is being demolished on the right.
This view in color is more chaotic and even this massive base of the offices tower loses impact.
11 Times Square is the newest tower seen here. The base is not the same as the tower above- perhaps a shame. There is no retail space above 1 fl and not sure if it is designed for that, despite what it looks like That cube thing on top of it is atrocious. Note that Mircrosoft has some offices in this building.
K-3 and first and only time out with an old Pentax fully manual 28mm f/ 2.8 lens I paid more than I should have, used. Already got rid of at a loss, but then again I could only make small number of shots I tried and then also found out in my trade in there were some small problems with the aperture blade[s].
The Tree Of Life, first of the sculptures to be installed, will shortly be followed by three large thrones, each with giant wings and a spectacular three metre-high steel elephant standing in a Viking longboat.
As well as the sculptures there will be new seating and lighting throughout the town centre and attractive new paving, trees and shrubbery.

Industrial wheels can serve as part of a bike rack. In the distance, railroad tracks still go through this waterfront area. The mainline between Seattle and Vancouver, BC.
A train happened to be going through carrying, what looked like oil tanker cars for our local refineries. Much of our oil now comes by rail from North Dakota.
