So I finally managed to steal some time away from my studies to do a bit of shooting. My apartment in Sydney is just a few minutes from Belmore Park, near Central, where a huge 2-storey high TV screen is showing World Cup games live from about 10:30pm through to the wee small hours. This was shot at around midnight at the end of the South Korea vs Togo game. The South Korea fans, also known as Red Devils, were all dressed in red wearing these 'Be The Reds' t-shirts, waving flags vigorously, beating drums, blowing horns or whistles, and being genuinely ecstatic when their team won.

Salford City Reds are an English rugby league club Now based in Barton-upon-Irwell, Eccles, Greater Manchester. Formed in 1873, they currently play in the Super League. They have won six Championships and one Challenge Cup. Their home ground is Salford City Stadium in Barton-upon-Irwell. The club previously played at The Willows in Weaste from 1901 until 2011.
Salford's nickname, The Red Devils, comes from a 1934 tour to France where the press described them as playing like devils, dubbing them Les Diables Rouges.
