This was made as a piece of visual play with trompe l'oeil effects,

Of course, Sierpinski Triangle shape is arising

By the way, I posted this via ShoZu "email to other" not using the awful email app or even worse MMS! What goes around comes around :-) !

(Posted straight from my phone with Nakama.)

Multiple exposures using a Fujifilm W3 3D camera and a PC with a 3D monitor and shutter glasses (nVidia 3DVision).

No editing used other than converting the MPO to a red/cyan anaglyph. I did this because I couldn't see any way to share the original MPO.

A recursive projection with thanks to Hokusai of this equirectangular panorama of a lighthouse crossing using Breic's Peirce Quincuncial code for Mathmap.

I wrote a Processing applet to recursively cut the image into progressively smaller triangles until either the triangles were tiny or the color variation in the triangle was below a chosen threshold.

This example uses fairly uniform triangle shapes, and no borders (i.e. the entire triangle, including edges, is all the same color).

Thank you!

Tethered shooting isn't something I've ever felt any dire need for, but it does have its gratifications.

This feels somehow recursive.

Again an escherization, but this time I've updated my mathmap scriplet so that not only am I able to control the growth of the spiral, but I can also finely control its angular speed. On this pic, each time the spiral makes one turn, it loops around the picture 11/8 times: there are 8 petals on the original flower, so that gives us 11 petals per turn of the spiral here. This differs from my previous flower spirals (like this one), where each small petal was aligned with its bigger clone.

Jennifer posted this, so I had to put this photo up. Apparently I spoiled her shot of Trees.

After Erica's session, we played around some more. Flipped Jen while she was laying on the ground.
