The flies visit flowers or bask on leaves, especially in the morning and afternoon. Males are territorial: they chase other insects from a lookout, often a leaf, by flying after them, then return to their post. The flies hibernate in sheltered places, such as bunkers, slurry pits and caves. They often gather there in large groups (Van der Vlies 2005). Males die in winter, only females survive the winter alive. The larvae have been described by Hartley (1961). They live in watery environments with a lot of organic material, both animal and vegetable, and can even develop in manure. They are particularly resistant to low-oxygen conditions; hence the name tenax, meaning "tough". There are even known cases of larvae developing in the rectum of humans.
The white thorn apple (Datura stramonium) belongs to the nightshade family and is native to North America. With us he can be found wild.
In the Middle Ages, the seeds of the thorn apples were used in witch ointments because of their hallucinogenic effects. The leaves of the thorn apple were stuck in horses' rectums to give them more temperament and to sell them more expensively.

So there I was...sitting at home this evening, enjoying a nice cup of tea reading some old Spiderman comic books...and then...BAAMMM!!!
What feels like seconds later was really hours...my body feels like it just got shot out of Godzilla's rectum...I finally open my eyes to see what the heck is going on and then...WAM!...I just got licked (more like smacked) on the face by this enormous tounge that even the dude from KISS would be envyous of...
Immediately I realize that Venom has kidnapped me for reasons I do not know...All I know is that he is even more uglier in person and smells like doo-doo...Is there some super power I posses that he wishes to steal from me?...does he want all my money (doubt it)?...or does he just want to lick me to death?

It is my pleasure to recommend a set of books that I used and believe to be quite informational: Foods And Their Healing Power and Medicinal Plants. As a Fellow, in the Medical Fellowship Program at Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital, I have found these books to be quite helpful. They provide accurate nutritional information for a wide array of foods found throughout the world and they include a list of medicinal plants with their properties and mechanisms of action. In addition, they are written without the usual heavy jargon, which makes them appealing to healthcare professionals, non-health care persons and children. The quality is superb and the material is presented in a colorful way. I have recommended them, on numerous occasions, to guests and patients at the Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital. This set of books will complement the home and any other learning enviroments.

I am writing this letter to offer my gratitude regarding the Encyclopedia of Medicinal Plants. In your description of the books you explained how beautiful they were and their content. All that I can say is that your words were not enough! The books have already proven to be an incredible asset to my own education and the promotion of God's health message to others.
The color and clarity of photographs is nothing less than phenomenal and the information given on each of the foods and medicinal plants far surpasses anything that I have been able to find thus far in book form or on the Internet. Not only will this prove very valuable in a health ministry but also in my profession as a medical doctor in education of my patients.
Please feel free to use me as a reference if anyone medical or non-medical needs further insight on these very valuable tools. Thanks again and God bless you!

My newest rescue..
Unfortunately the cat sanctuary would not take in my family of mother cat with 2 babies, as so many people had dumped their unwanted kittens on the poor woman who runs the place.
So I had to revert to Plan B.
Sputnik, (the black and white kitty), had a prolapsed rectum and a nasty case of pneumonia. I bought a humane cat trap and managed to trap him and get him to my vet. He is still there being taken care of until a suitable adoption can be found, meanwhile he is costing me a small fortune.
Mom cat, I managed to trap after many mishaps, such as capturing my neighbour's cat by mistake etc. I paid for her to be spayed. So finally, no more kittens for her. She is doing fine, but unfortuantely she has to live outdoors as I do not have any more room in my small home.
Elvis, became so tame, I could just pick him up and carry him about, so I had no trouble taking him to the vet. He joined my family of indoor cats after being treated for parasites, (he was riddled with all kinds of worms, fleas, mites etc.). It seems like he has always lived here.
The sanctum sanctorum housing the Nataraja statue is called the Chit Sabha or Ponnambalam. The five pillars of the Chit Sabha indicates the five senses. The roof of this Sabha contains 9 kalasas depicting the 9 dwaras (gateways) in the human body (namely 2 eyes, 2 nostrils, 2 ears, mouth, rectum, genitals). The roof has 22600 tiles denoting the number of times a person can breathe in a day. The tiles are fixed to the roof using 72000 nails depicting the number of nadis (channels of prana in the body).
Just as the human heart is not at its centre, the Nataraja statue is also slightly shifted to the side. One can notice this if you view the statue from within the two horns of the Nandikeshvara (Shiva’s vehicle). Also, one can notice that the entrance paths to the sanctum sanctorum are not straight as is the case in most of the temples. Instead, entrance paths are through the sides representing the fact that human blood circulates only through the sides of the heart and not straight.
We got some bad news from the vet last week. Chico has had a growth on his bum. The vet thinks that the growth is malignant. Good news is that she doesn't believe it has spread further up his rectum/intestines. Options are:
1) let my vet try to remove it, but she does not think she can get all of the margins. (according to the vet, the rule is to remove 1/3 of an inch around any growth, but Chico is so small, that would include nearly all of his anus, and would require reconstructive surgery)
2) Referral to an oncologist/surgeon (probably near Boston; 3-4 hours away) to see if chemo or radiation can shrink it enough so that surgery could remove the entire thing.
Regardless of what I choose, there is a strong chance that he will end up with fecal incontinence. Any of the treatments are going to cost a lot of money, and potentially lost time from work for me (I HATE that I have to consider finances) Plus, I have to consider his quality of life and his life expectancy.
Chico is 12 years old and he's always been so healthy. We still have to wait for the biopsy results which probably won't be done until next week. This is a shock. I thought he would be with me at least another 3-4 years.
Even though many things are less bad than the current terrorist regime of the Mullahs, nostalgia for the monarchy under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlewi isn't exactly a good idea. For dissidents, life during his reign was certainly no walk in the park.
In 1957, the Shah established the SAVAK secret police. "Writing at the time of the Shah's overthrow, Time magazine on February 19, 1979, described SAVAK as having "long been Iran's most hated and feared institution" which had "tortured and murdered thousands of the Shah's opponents". The Federation of American Scientists also found it guilty of "the torture and execution of thousands of political prisoners" and symbolising "the Shah's rule from 1963–79." The FAS list of SAVAK torture methods included "electric shock, whipping, beating, inserting broken glass and pouring boiling water into the rectum, tying weights to the testicles, and the extraction of teeth and nails"."
I came across the demonstration march this afternoon at Schwarzenbergplatz in Vienna.
Young child who swallowed a needle, unknown to the parents. The parents presented the child to the ER after the mother noticed the needle protruding sharp end first from the peri-anal region. After an uneventful transit through the intestinal tract, feces in the rectum had forced the needle through the tissues as the child was attempting to defecate.
A quite large dildo that is beyond the point of self-retrieval, in the rectum and sigmoid of a patient.
These cases are more frequent than you might imagine. Many of these patients will state that "they fell on it", or use some accidental method of rectal penetration as an explanation for why they are in the ER. Some even go so far as to say things such as: "I was attacked by a group of men who did this to me." Nearly all of these types of cases are patients who were trying to achieve or enhance sexual gratification through anal and rectal stimulation. What I do appreciate though, are the patients who are in this situation and just get brutally honest. "I was getting off on this thing in my ass and it went too deep." It's not that I don't respect the people that make excuses. I can't even imagine the horrific embarrassment of having to go to the ER to have a 'still vibrating' dildo removed from your rectum. Definitely a very personal thing, no matter who you are, and many would be too mortified to tell the truth to strangers. It's just that every now and then, someone comes in and says: "I love these things in my ass. I got one stuck and I can't get it out, will you help me?"
I respect that kind of honesty.

"Fun Facts About the Dragonfly and Its Lifecycle
• Since they spend most of their life in aquatic settings as nymphs, dragonflies are able to breathe through gills in their rectum. They are also able to propel themselves through the water by expelling water through their anus.
• Dragonflies are predators and believe it or not they have a roughly 95% success rate when hunting. They are equipped with sharp mandibles that they use for tearing prey apart. Thanks to this sharp jaw, baby dragonflies are capable of eating mosquito larvae, worms, tadpoles, and even small fish.
• There are approximately 5,000 species of dragonflies found around the world, with the exception of Antarctica. About 450 species of dragonflies can be found in the United States and about 80 species in British Columbia. A majority of dragonflies live in remote, tropical climates."

© David K. Edwards. Some people call this a butte. Not even close. Read the definition. This is clearly a BUTT, or an overlapping cluster of lava domes associated with the unfortunately dormant Mt. Shasta (and where there is a butt, a rectum is not far away). It is located miserably between the "cities" of Mount Shasta and Weed, California. Yes, Weed.

# Psst. Satire alert. You've been warned. Thank you. Please don't litter in space!
# BUT SERIOUSLY ...
# Welcome to Suburbia in Space! THIS WEEK IN THE TRONA REMIX ..... YES, we [again] focus on Springtime for Saturn, where fields of Ultra-GMO flowers will soon carpet the lush Human Habitat Spheres, the colors filling our hearts with joy and a murderous ballad or two. Yes, these blossoms have ancillary benefits! Never fret about body disposal again! These lovelies live for meat, and have developed quite a taste for, well, us. This is the new wild west, after all, just watch your back! Start planning your trek to Saturn where, in a sense, no one ever dies because autopsies aren't performed -- those darn blossoms eat it all -- and of course there are no depressing cemeteries. Just shiny, happy, belching flower beds, and ungodly amounts of radiation. Turns out the stuff guarantees that Mommy and Daddy have a thermonuclear strength happy ending to kids-free fun time. If the brats do get the in the way, simply feed them to the flowers -- no questions asked -- and make another batch! Saturn kiddies are pushing our evolution, too, with third eyes, tongues in strange places, even rectums that talk! It's Naked Lunch every day! Don't unnecessarily deliberate! Gorgeous and grisly fields of red await! Exterminate all rational thought and catch a DARPA hop today! YPA!
Inspiration from one of my favourite Mario parody animations. Power star is one of the most uniquely driven storylines I have ever seen done for such a childish game series. Check it out on newgrounds if you have some time to kill.
This was a serious pain in the rectum as I seriously took too much time and thought on this because of the lack of a lower body when tracing the pixels down. Thus I had to recreate the the whole bottom waist area on my own.

This Amber Snail has been affected by Leucochloridium, explained below. It was very fastinating to see this snail that had been turned into a 'Zombie'.
The green-banded broodsac, scientific name Leucochloridium paradoxum, is a parasitic flatworm (or "helminth") that uses gastropods as an intermediate host. It is typically found in land snails of the genus Succinea that live in Europe and North America where it infects the host’s eyes making them appear as caterpillars that other birds prey on. Various birds consume these infected gastropods, becoming the definitive host for L. paradoxum to mature and release eggs in the rectum that are later found in the feces of the bird host.

Now I would enjoy sucking on Her toes ; through Her Black Nylons ... and then I would penetrate Her Anus , and enter Her Rectum with my Penis ... I would just hold my Penis inside of Her Rectum , for an Hour or so ...
