I was on the extended recovery ward for a few hours as my blood oxygen sats were 90 or below and they like them to be above 92. I was perfectly well and it felt like a waste of time and resources. However, I managed to get a bit of an arty shot on my iPhone. (I was a bit bored.)

Sometimes when I work too hard to crawl up out of whatever rut I am stuck in, I find that I push myself too hard. I over-think everything and end up more exhausted and strung-out than I was in the first place. Sometimes I need to take myself away from all the distractions around me and take a pause to just breathe for a while. This was one of those moments of repose.

We wanted to make a couple of hikes at the Glen Coe area but we first drove through the town of Ballachulish to find Chisholm's. Arriving there a couple of vintage wreckers were parked outside. We spoke to the owner for quite a while and he told as the DAF 2800 was just sold to a guy from Ukraine. He was wondering was such a guy would do with a rhd in his country but he didn't mind. We were quite lucky seeing this DAF because it already left the day after.

One of the latest vehicles at Chisholm's yard at Ballachulish. It's a former Dutch unit. Chlsholm's stretched the chassis at their own workshop. Note the position of the 2nd steered axle. The owner claims this one's better balanced than a standard triple. It's equipped with a Century Rotator 1075.
