A scan of a "recovered negative" from Fuji FP-3000B shot with a Mamiya RB67 with a Fish Eye lens. 1/4 sec f/11.
This was a test shot, the positive came out a bit too dark so the subsequent film shot (delta 3200) was shot one stop slower. I was under the impression that the FB-3000 gave a full negative unlike 100B, but this appears to be solarized too, although I am suspicious that it is only because the lights were so bright relative to the rest of the scene. (sorry it got a little messed up in my bag on the walk home)
In the positive, all of the grass is nearly black.
This Government agent is assessing damage to a school and will suggest re-building efforts reflect "build back better" ideals. Taken at Ghrigana Girls School near El Ghadaref.
This may look like a scene from Autumn...it's not.
A little under 2 months ago these areas where devastated by some of the largest fires we had experienced. The landscape was just shades of black. As you can see nature recovers quickly, but the human recovery is going to take a lot longer.

Recovering from today, and preparing for tomorrow. I get to have a tooth pulled- loads of fun. My scuba class was postponed for a couple weeks, and I missed all of work because of today. I cannot have any solid foods but all I seem to have is solid foods in the house. And our Vice President is coming in town this week where I'll be recovering from oral surgery. How was your day?

Arab Forum on Asset Recovery (AFAR III), Co-chaired by Switzerland, Egypt and Tunisia. It was established in 2012 and works as a platform bringing together the G7, the Deauville Partnership with Arab Countries in Transition, key global and regional financial centers, as well as countries in the Arab World, to foster international cooperation for the return of stolen assets. Since its inception, AFAR has addressed the key pressing needs of Arab States in recovering assets, and has served as a forum for practical action and cooperation. Mobilizing both policy makers and practitioners, it has generated political momentum, raised awareness locally and internationally of effective measures for asset recovery, promoted domestic coordination and facilitated international cooperation on cases. It has also provided training and guidance to increase the capability of law enforcement and other officials.

April 11, 2012, Middleburgh - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announces that New York State will cover the local share of disaster response and recovery costs resulting from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) usually covers 75% of eligible disaster response and recovery costs, and the remaining 25% is typically shared equally by the state and localities. Under the Governor's direction, the state will pick up the local share for most eligible expenses, making $61 million available to 25 counties to cover costs associated with emergency shelter, road, water system and infrastructure repair, stream and riverbed mitigation, and other clean-up projects.
