Students and tutors spoke about their achievements whether learning to speak English, learning reading or math skills, or developing a supportive tutor-student relationship.
We enjoyed a volunteer recognition event on June 14 for our Heart of the Valley Chapter superstars! Great food, great fellowship, and a beautiful setting courtesy of the Del Rio Country Club in Modesto. This was a happy return to in-person volunteer events for this relatively-new chapter that made its debut just prior to the pandemic. A very special night indeed.
