The World Social Security Forum (WSSF 2025), organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), is held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 29 September to 3 October 2025. It is hosted by the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), with support from the Retirement Fund (Incorporated) (KWAP) and the Implementation Coordination Unit, Prime Ministerās Department (ICU JPM) as the secretariat of the Malaysia Social Protection Council (MySPC).

On Monday, May 15, 2023, the City of Laredo and Mayor, Dr. Victor D. Trevino proclaimed the week of May 15 ā 19 as Public Service Recognition Week in Laredo. For the first time, during the same event, the City Managerās Office and the Human Resources Department recognized 53 employees that have served in the City of Laredo continuously for more than 30 years.
