While visiting Ladew Gardens in Maryland, I was stopped by this rabbit jumping out a hedge in front of me.
It (I don’t know if it was a he or she) was on the lawn about 10 feet away staring at me. Then the rabbit proceeded to eat the something in the grass.
I started the process of taking a shot and moving forward about half a foot. After a few shots I was a little less than five feet away. My new rabbit friend stopped eating and we just looked at each other.
The camera clicked and this image, which is enlarged, was taken.
Suddenly the group of family and friends noisily came around a tall hedge arch and the rabbit took off into the garden.
It is one of those odd moments when you feel there is a grander connection between living entities.
Miss flickr, been busy with too much happening at once.
