Through our combined effort we also manage to defeat the Iron Golem in the end. It is a bit frustrating, when you can't use most of your powers effectively to fight such a creature, but at least there are alternatives. In the end it is the conjured skeletal warrior, that rips through it. At least it was immune to the poison gas and it used its attack to draw the golem's attention away from Halldór. That might have saved our soon-to-be dwarven king some pain.
Fiur might have only been limited to scorching the iron golem with her hellish rebuke, one of her most basic attacks, but even the most masic attacks of a warlock are quite formidable.

I don't know who the one looking towards the camera is. he or she isn't the usual one who is comfortable coming to this tree and being photographed. (CNN)President Donald Trump on Wednesday vetoed the sweeping defense bill that both chambers of Congress recently passed by veto-proof majorities, setting up a possible veto override that would pit members of his own party against him.Trump had previously threatened to veto the defense bill, known as the National Defense Authorization Act, because it doesn't include a repeal of Section 230, a law that shields internet companies from liability for what is posted on their websites by them or third parties.The bill includes provisions to limit how much money Trump can move around for his border wall and another that would require the military to rename bases that were named after figures from the Confederacy."Unfortunately," the President wrote in his veto message to Congress, "the Act fails to include critical national security measures, includes provisions that fail to respect our veterans and our military's history, and contradicts efforts by my Administration to put America first in our national security and foreign policy actions. It was a strange and troubling experience for me photographing human remains. I felt a little crass as I searched for 'artistic' angles. There was a voice in my head that wanted to say 'I can't do this' and have me stop. And yet, here I was doing it, so obviously I could. This second realization disturbed me further and it was then that I could no longer 'do this' and I stopped taking pictures
.... And yet, it is important that we don't forget the horrific things that people have and continue to do to other people. In order to change the world we must deal with the reality of what has been done, and to do this we need to record and communicate these atrocities. And so these pictures are being posted here.
This is an excavation of a mass grave from one of the massacre sites. The museum was built up around this site so it could be a graphic reminder of the horrors inflicted on the people of Nanjing.
We went to the Nanjing Massacre Museum. It was built on the sight of a mass grave of 10,000 people. It is estimated that at least 300,000 people were massacred in Nanjing during the Japanese invasion. This museum is a memorial to those who were so brutally killed. It stands as a stark reminder of the horrors of war and is a rebuke to the invaders.
Thursday was a beautiful, clear day.

Edward Woore was also responsible for the "Leyland" window which is inscribed "In memory of John & Elizabeth Leyland and their son John, Churchwarden 1923–1934 and superintendent of Prescot Parish Church Sunday School 1918–1934". In the top 3 panels of the "Leyland" window we see Jesus in the temple with his disciples and young children with their mothers. They had brought their infants to him so he might touch them. The disciples rebuked the mothers for doing so, but Jesus was much displeased and said to them "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the Kingdom of God". Mark 10 v.13-14. The bottom part of the window shows St Andrew, St Christopher and St Elizabeth of Hungary.

The events are being held to defend the rights, safety, and health of women and families, and to celebrate the qualities that make humans diverse and inclusive in the world. "We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us," organizers said.

Distinguish the True Christ From the False Ones-Welcome the Second Coming of Jesus
Brother Li looked at me and said smilingly, “The Lord Jesus said: ‘For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect’ (Matthew 24:24). The words of the Lord show us that false Christs and false prophets mainly rely on performing signs and wonders to deceive people. That is to say, any that claim to be Christ and show many signs and wonders in the last days are surely the false Christs. This is the primary manifestation of false Christs’ deception of people. The Lord Jesus reminded us not to follow them because of the signs and wonders they show. From these, we can know that the Lord will never show signs and wonders again when He returns. But it doesn’t mean that all those who preach the second coming of the Lord are testifying false Christs. We can’t twist the Lord’s words and fall into Satan’s trap. The Lord Jesus has told us the false Christs’ characteristics. Then let’s have a look at what Almighty God says about this! Almighty God says: ‘If, during the present day, there is to emerge a person who is able to display signs and wonders, and can cast out demons, and heal, and perform many miracles, and if this person claims that they are the coming of Jesus, then this would be the counterfeit of evil spirits, and their imitation of Jesus. Remember this! God does not repeat the same work. Jesus’ stage of work has already been completed, and God will never again undertake that stage of work. … In the conceptions of man, God must always display signs and wonders, must always heal and cast out demons, and must always be just like Jesus, yet this time God is not like that at all. If, during the last days, God still displayed signs and wonders, and still cast out demons and healed—if He did exactly the same as Jesus—then God would be repeating the same work, and the work of Jesus would have no significance or value. Thus, God carries out one stage of work in every age. Once each stage of His work has been completed, it is soon imitated by evil spirits, and after Satan begins to follow on the heels of God, God changes to a different method; once God has completed a stage of His work, it is imitated by evil spirits. You must be clear about these things’ (“Knowing God’s Work Today”). From Almighty God’s words, we can know that God doesn’t repeat the same work! Just as when the Lord Jesus came to work, the Age of Grace was begun and the Age of Law was ended. And He did the work of redeeming all of mankind and saved man from sin. In the last days, Almighty God has come and brought to the end the Age of Grace and opened up the Age of Kingdom. Instead of repeating the work that has been done by the Lord Jesus, He has carried out the work that is uplifted and deepened on the basis of the Lord Jesus’s redemption work, expressed the truth to save man and resolve the root of man’s sinning and man’s satanic corrupt disposition thoroughly, so that man can be saved completely out of Satan’s influence of darkness and be gained by God. While both the false Christs and false prophets are the evil spirits claiming to be Christ. They are incapable of doing the work of starting a new age and concluding the old age. Also, they have no truth within them and can’t express the truth. What they can do only are imitating the work the Lord Jesus has carried out and showing some supernatural signs and wonders to deceive those who lack recognition. Yet like the signs and wonders showed by the Lord Jesus, such as bringing Lazarus back from the dead, feeding five thousand with just five loaves of bread and two fish or rebuking the wind and sea, the false Christs and the evil spirits are not able to imitate them at all. And those are totally beyond them. The essence of the false Christs is wicked, ugly and base, they are evil spirits, and they have no the reality of truth at all, so they deceive man only by showing signs and wonders. And sometimes they admonish man and deceive man by imitating the tones of God’s words and simple words once spoken by God. These are their habitual tricks. So we should learn to discern in case of being deceived.”
