... regarding my future on Rebrickable.
May be a bit unusual to communicate this way, but I'm really p***d off.
We'll find another way to share our creations.
1455 pieces. instructions available at rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-83439/barneius/imperial-shuttle-...
I posted the cinematic shot already, but in the background I was still working on my true intention for this MOC: creating a display model with instructions. Unlike my previous LU builds, this one was a physical model first, and had to be digitalized to make instructions.
The ship itself was build over the course of a (full) day, the engines were especially challenging. Attachment to the stand proved tricky, because the one attachment point at the bottom of the ship is also used by the satellite dish.
To see how I solved these challenges, check out the instructions at Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-91349/Exetrius/mini-venture-koi/...
Also, I made a short Youtube demo of posing the ship on the stand: youtu.be/nvnahhhQiKc
(that's actually the first time filming my LEGO, feedback welcome!)
Cheers, and have fun!
Here’s a tiny scene, loosely inspired by the truly crap Battle on Takodana set 75139, but now very small and with vehicles! Kylo Ren’s Shuttle dominates the scene but I’ve also put together a First Order Transport, Resistance Troop Transport and a tiny battle between Finn, Han, Chewie and the Stormtroopers in the ruins, with Poe nailing TIEs above. For completeness I’ve also built a shrunken Maz Kanata’s Castle, before it got destroyed! Instructions are available on Rebrickable, I’ve included the Studio model of the scene to make it easier to build individual parts of the scene... rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-63463/ron_mcphatty/micro-battle-...

Lego Star Wars Imperial LA-CH MOC
My minifig scale MOC of the Imperial LA-CH - or Dropship - based on Artwork by EC Henry 😍 and carrying two modified AT-ST's by @ldd_modelmaker.
I have no exact part count, but I think it is about 3'700 pcs - 1'800 for the ship; 1'300 for two Walkers and maybe 600 for the stand.
Most delicate is the stand and the balance of the Gunship on it. The ship is "front-heavy" and the space between the Walkers only allowed for one Technic beam of width 😮.
But after rounds of stripping the ship down to its bare minimum of bricks, I achieved an nice balance to stay levelled.
A great thanks to @ldd_modelmaker for allowing him to use and mod his AT-ST's 💯. And as always, EC Henry and and Angelos Karderinis for sharing more details and renders 🙏.
Check out my earlier posts for the MOC of the Imperial LAAT - or Gunship - also based on Artwork by EC Henry.

After delivering the cargo to the rebel base commander he is stranded on the planet as his ship was blown to bits by one of Darth Mor's Destroyers.
One day later he is invited by the Commander to his office:
- Cade comes into the Commander's office dressed in a blueish-grey outfit as his Guavian gear was left behind due to damage and to avoid being easily spotted by Darth Mor's Agents.
- Commander: Welcome Cade, Please have a seat. I would like to thank you again for the great job done by delivering to us the experimental fuel. This will save many lives, Cade, that fuel will help us design new engine types and build better Starfighters. We are now planning to take out the facility on Daro and considering you know the landscape very well I was thinking of asking for your help on leading an attack squadron of 10 X-Wings and 5 Y-Wings.
- Cade: Thank you Commander but I would not like to get involved further in your conflict, I'm planning on leaving as soon as I get my promised credits and maybe you can point me to a ship seller so I can look for a cheap ride out of here.
- Commander: Ah well, was worth a try. Sure Cade I will transfer the credits to you for the job well done and I'm sorry about your ship, the only way I can help you is to join me in the hangar and see what we got there.
- Cade agrees and they go over to the hangar where Cade can only see disappointment, Bounty was a part of him, that ship was on his side from the day he left the Guavians. Now looking ahead the Commander points to a strange small-looking ship.
- Commander: Cade this is the S10 Spirit and the only thing we could find about it is that it used to be a Jedi Starfighter. We found it in the hangar long ago, we were thinking it was abandoned here by its Jedi owner when the purge started. We used it to do scouting missions but not more than that. The ship handles superbly and it is hyperdrive capable. We did try to look into its back box to find the owner but it was all blocked, clearly the owner didn't want anyone to find him. Ah, and there is one small droid inside a BD series, we tried to check his data bank but it is locked as well. We left it all there as you never know, maybe the owner would return one day but it looks like not as the ship has been sitting here for a very long time.
Anyways, what do you say? - Cade: It will do, looking in your hanger it doesn't look like I got a better option.
- Commander: I will call in the engineers to get it ready for you. And Cade, our doors are always open to you. Don't forget about that offer.
- Cade: We will see Commander, what brings tomorrow.
- Soon after the Starfighter was ready to go and Cade went in to get ready for departure. He looked at that BD unit with suspicion but left it for another time. At the moment he needed to get away from the rebels and imperials. He took Spirit out for a spin and realized it was quite a formidable fighter.
As soon as he got off planet he was thinking where exactly he could go and hide for a while. Then he could hear from behind him some small engine noises and powerups.
- BD-2: Hellow I'm BD-2
- Cade: Had a fixed look at the BD unit not knowing how to react at that moment.......
Just some photos of the ships now that I’ve built one, and sprayed the Nubian silver! It’s a simple vinyl dye, the kind of paint you use on fake leather car upholstery, but it soaks into the Lego and gives a durable finish. I wish I’d remembered to spray the N1 Starfighter before I ran out of paint, maybe next time. Instructions for the Nubian, Infiltrator and N1 are on Rebrickable... rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/
I built this 1970's-inspired car back in December 2022 from instructions on Rebrickable by user Labronco Brick Designs. Those instructions in turn were based on a car from the decade-old LEGO City Undercover video game. You can see the original car's Rebrickable page here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-32950/Labronco%20Brick%20Designs...
I know the car looks like Bumblebee from the Transformers franchise, but it's not.
...or is it?
My Rebrickable store is now open! Each of these custom build instructions are now available.
Each of the Batman UCS sets scaled down to mini-fig scale.
I kept the scaling of the 1989 Batmobile - Limited Edition (40433) set when designing the other three sets.
The UCS sets for the Tumbler, Bat-Pod and 1989 Batmobile as share the tire 18450 in common. So I made sure that all of my designs shared tire 56891 from set 40433 in common.

In front of you is the most accurate model of the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 in 1:24 scale. The proportions of the car are 95% the same as the original, it is impossible to do better in this scale. But you can try to improve my model, I would be only glad :)

The Y-45 armored transport hauler, also known as AT-hauler, built by Kuat Drive Yards and used for the Galactic Empire, with its very agressive and intimidating design, was a great Midi-scale challenge.
Accurately Microfig-scaled (or trophy-scaled), and made of 623 pieces, this MOC features all the typical angles and details of the original cargo ship: agressive cockpit shape, intricate wing angles, lower bridge with its guard-rails and stairs, ion engines and magnetic clamps, holding on a single, secure Lego stand.
With very simple connections, both arms can be installed upwards to put the ship in landing mode.

This ship is bio-tech ship made by the Yuuzhan Vong. Mainly used during the Yuuzhan Vong War/Invasion (New Jedi Order era) these living ships would be crewed by a single pilot using a hood to share minds with the creature/ship. It eats rocks and spits magma-like projectiles. It was propelled and shielded by a small heart-like Dovin basal.

This ship is an old favourite of mine, along with Anakin's Podracer they represent the geeky peak of my youth! Having a go at this in midi-scale was a lot of fun, the ship came together really quickly and going bigger than micro meant being able to explore lots of ways to do the curvy body. It's turned out to be a simple little build that is about 2/3 the length of the last set by Lego and hopefully just as sturdy. Instructions, as ever are on Rebrickable...

Echoes from the time before time. Memories of times past ready us for the future.
Built from approximately 80% Lego system, 15% Technic, and using the original Bionicle head piece and mask, the Kanohi Huna, totalling 172 parts.
Increased limb articulation, with shoulders, slightly bendable knees and elbows. With slight mobility for the waist.
Real build and photos, minor edits to color correct few parts etc. It is relatively strudy but should still be handled with care.
Note, be very careful when handling the end of the staff.

I've tried to make this strong, detailed, small and most importantly cheap. At 28cm long and about £45 to build it's turned out to be a handy ship to display my 501st Troopers and a Jedi or two. There's a tiny BARC speeder shoved up the rear end, the side doors swing open to make sitting Troopers inside pretty easy and I've added a stand to show the ship off in a flying pose. I hope you guys like this simple little ship, it was a lot of fun to put together :)
Since quite a few people have asked, I've made instructions and hosted them on Rebrickable if anyone is interested.
The Lockheed Martin C-130J "Super Hercules" is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft, and is a complete update of the original C-130 Hercules design that has been in service worldwide since 1956. The C-130J is currently in service worldwide, and can be found operating with the armed forces of 23 different countries. In the United States, the Super Hercules is in service with both the active and reserve components of the US Air Force, as well as the Air National Guard. The basic J-model has also been modified in USAF use, forming the foundation of the AC-130J, MC-130J, HC-130J, and WC-130J. Other services also operate variants of the aircraft, with the Marine Corps flying the KC-130J aerial refueling version, and the Coast Guard operating a handful HC-130J rescue types.
Externally similar to the classic H-model Hercules in general appearance, the J-model features considerably updated technology. These differences include new Rolls-Royce turboprop engines with six composite propellers, digital avionics, and reduced crew requirements. These changes have improved performance over its C-130E/H predecessors, such as 40% greater range, 21% higher maximum speed, and 41% shorter takeoff distance.
---
I originally posted a digital render of this design about a year ago, but only got a chance to build the physical model when I got back from the Middle East. C-130Js in Air Mobility Command service almost always have a light gray nose, but part 4742 doesn't come in light bley. I'm also not super happy with the rotor blades, but part 32125 also doesn't come in black...so had to roll with plan B.
After working on the round tower for rebirckable I felt that I had changed the pallet of techniques I wanted to use with sets for the black falcons.
This takes those techniques forward, still using the modular castle system that the ideas castle was based on.
These are probably not the last iteration. But i think the turret that extends one of the corner tower connects it well with the larger round tower
