Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator set 75383, rebuilt only using pieces from the set! Free instructions are on Rebrickable, link in my profile or below…

This has been an absolute blast to do, one of the rare projects where I play with the actual Lego and dive back into Studio when it’s all done. I think I’ve managed to improve the proportions, the lower half of the ball now looks more rounded, the wings have a very subtle curve, the nose is a bit sleeker with that area in front of the ball slimmed down to something much less bulky.

.

The ship is still solid and swooshable, the droid-dropping feature is gone but there’s still space for a couple of the droids and the cockpit will still hold Maul on his little hovering Sith Vespa thing.

.

Best of all, no extra pieces required 😊

There are people who like SAABs.

Not very many, but the REALLY like SAABs.

One of my most often requested models for people to build for themselves is the SAAB 900. The model shown here, the 900 Turbo 16S Aero 3-Door is probably the most recognisable model of the type.

I have finally decided to get into Rebrickable though, and load up some designs. You can now download the instructions for the 900 Turbo 16S Aero at the following link:

rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-32874/lego911/saab-900-turbo-16s...

This is the 10th iteration of my SAAB 900 model, and has the benefit of about ten years of design evolution.

The model has a Lego Technic piston engine (hence the bump on the nose), mounted longitudinally, and geared to the front wheels. The model also has independent front suspension and also suspension at the rear.

Bodywork features opening doors and luggage door, folding rear seat, and even a spare wheel under the rear of the car.

I have tried to make the model fairly sympathetic to colour selection. Without modification the model can be built in the following colours:

Dark Red, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Tan, Reddish-Brown, White, Light Grey, Dark Grey and Black.

With a substitution for the luggage door hinge (#48336) to black, the model can also be built in:

Dark Green and Dark Blue.

For all you SAAB 900 fans out there, this is your opportunity to build your own functioning model.

Did you have one of these in the 1980s? I didn't, but my cousin did, and I loved playing with it. Now I have my own in Lego form.

I can remember the feel of holding the neck and flying it around, finger on the laser trigger. When you tilted it up, it made an accelerating engine sound and a decelerating sound on the way down. It was definitely one of my favorites.

This LEGO model of the classic Star Bird recreates the main play features:

- A button at the back of the command section lights up the laser blasters in front (via two light bricks).

- The command section can detach and dock with the main engine for a more agile star fighter.

- The two small interceptors can detach from the main section.

- The model is sturdy, built with swooshability in mind."

Stumpy is an alternative build using pieces from 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown. He(?) was built for the MOC Alternative Build Competition on Rebrickable.

️ A tropical Island beach ️

This MOC shows a tropical Island discovered from adventures. They have landed here on the beach side to start new adventures. They took lots of things with them such as boxes and chests filled with food or other resources and they even made a campfire already!

☠️ Highlights of the Build:

1. Realistic Water! The light blue colored water makes it feel like you are in the warm Caribbeans!

2. Realistic Palms! The Palms make it feel like a tropical Island with their curved tribes.

3. Story time! The fact that there aren't any minifigures in this MOC leaves space for an exciting story to happen with your own imaginations and your own minifigs.

Last year I released my EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate moc, however some things were still not quite there so I have just released a huge update. Amongst the numerous improvements to the ship, the biggest are a brand new front pod (the cream coloured one) to replace the gaudy yellow version on last years release. A longer, bulkier nose section and a (much requested) brand new Micro Millennium Falcon.

This is a big model at 2643 pieces, 84cm long and 38cm high and instructions are available now.

Think SAAB.

While the 3-Door 900 Aero is the first SAAB that might come to mind, the coolest is probably the Aero Convertible. A full four seats, plus all the usual SAAB coolness added up to a pretty compelling package. The ultimate colour, was of course, yellow, but black and red were OK too.

The SAAB 900 Convertible wasn’t super fast, but it didn’t need to be, the style was the key, and the convertible had it in spades.

The engine bay was constrained though, so SAAB’s route to performance was turbocharging. All SAABs had been FWD too, though this tended to limit how much torque could be transferred to the road smoothly.

For SAAB, this was a high point. The marque was sold on to General Motors, the second generation 900, based of the GM Cavalier platform, never captured the hearts of the buying public as the Classic 900 model had.

Being October, which had always been the LUGNuts anniversary month, this 1987 SAAB 900 Turbo 16S Convertible has been built to the 85th challenge theme 'Like, Totally 80s'.

By popular demand, this model is available on my Rebrickable account.

A highly modified S-100 Stringer-class Starfighter by Rees Serifa's engineers.

Named Vengeance after Rees Serifa joined the Rebellion. Having a life support system, hyperdrive, two X-Wing Laser cannons but boosted for a higher fire rate, two mid-frontal laser cannons, and three powerful engines to bring vengeance swiftly to the enemy.

Serifa was a Pirate Leader who lost her crew to the Empire while she was fighting another Pirate group in the outer rim.

While the pirate group the Empire arrived with its forces above Zeffo and destroyed her cruiser with all hands lost.

The arriving Empire forces didn't know about the conflict between the pirate groups, they were sent to Zeffo to pick up artifacts and to do research. Finding the Cruiser there was a surprise, they knew it was owned by pirates so there was no hesitation in destroying it.

The rest of the forces were mostly lost on Zeffo and she had to retreat.

She pledged to avenge her people and destroy the Empire but with her small squadron of only 3 Starfighters and 2 Snubfighters, it was a difficult task to complete.

She looked to recruit people to her cause but since the Empire was putting terror in people's hearts she was having a hard time getting the numbers to rise anywhere.

After continued raids against small pockets of Empire forces her forces dwindled down to 3 Starfighters, her included. Her vengeance started to look weak.

One day she repelled the Empires forces attacking a damaged Rebel Cruiser, the Captain of the Cruiser asked her to escort them back to the Rebel base. The Rebel Commander offered her to join them and so Rees Serifa and her two companions became the famous Death Squadron of the Rebel Forces.

Seeing her team's amazing skills they decided to supply Serifa's companions with two M52X Starfighters. She was given the title Captain of the Death Squadron which put fear into the Empire's Heart every time they so that black and yellowed wings Starfighter.
